Shopping at Amba is always a pleasure. Whenever I visit I find something so wonderful and beautiful. And the staff are so welcoming to myself and I end up chatting and chatting for hours!! Whatever I buy I get comments far and wide about how unique they are, individual and wonderful. Kings Road selection in Somerset. Always visit when I am in Wells.
I love this shop. Always have really beautiful clothes and wonderful items you don’t need but love so always end up purchase. Fabulous range of bags and jewellery too! Always greeted with a smile and the lovely ladies always have time for a chat. Great clothes shop and I am glad it’s here, in Wells ❤️
I can only compliment the amazing experience I had in this shop while visiting Wells recently. The assistant ( I believe Jane? Tall wearing FREEPEOPLE barrel jeans which I have since purchased in two colours) couldn’t have been more helpful, finding appropriate sizes and giving great advice about how to style looks. It was just a real shame that they didn’t have the items in my size that I have subsequently bought directly from the makers online. I would definitely use this boutique regularly if I lived closer.
First time I’ve been in the shop. I won’t be returning. I asked to try on some glasses. The lady behind the counter said you best come back once you’ve had your eyes tested. I explained I wanted to try the frames for comfort and style. She huffed and puffed and was really very rude, unnecessarily. I’ve looked back at the comments and there seems to be a pattern here. Why be in retail if you can’t even be polite to your customers !
This was my wife’s favourite shop in Wells until today. We went in , my wife to look at the dresses and I looked at a pair of red glasses which had taken my fancy. I tried them on to see if they were suitable as they were reading glasses. A woman ( either owner or shop assistant ) addressed me aggressively to see if I wanted help and directing me to the desk. I immediately felt unwelcome and uncomfortable. It felt as though I had been suspected of being a shoplifter. My wife felt the same even though she had bought clothes in the past so we left and will not be returning.
This is a great boutique with a great variety of lovely clothes and accessories. Had very good customer service.
