   My daughter stayed in 16-18 Potterow 2020-21 and it was excellent. Sadly after a move to 22A Potterow in 2021-22 and several changes in management, the experience has been the opposite. For upwards of £14k for a studio you would expect value for money but this has not been her experience. Problems included: a rodent infestation which took 3 weeks to sort fully and no alternative accommodation offered for two weeks, some maintenance repairs not happening - E.g. cracked induction hob in existence when she moved in, replacement promised several times but not delivered; no response from 24/7 emergency tel number when needed, broken front door on more than one occasion meant residents unable to access building (at night on one occasion). Badly designed wet room floor means water does not drain away efficiently leading to flooded flat on a couple of occasions. Best thing about it - proximity to Uni of Edinburgh. This accommodation promises much but all that glitters is not gold.

   Lived here last year, I really liked this accommodation! The staff at reception were always friendly and ready to help when there was a problem (big shout out to Paul and Christine!). The facilities are modern and very clean, and it is close to supermarkets and restaurants. I highly recommend this accommodation to anybody!

   I'm staying in Potterrow during the 2020/2021 academic year, and despite the pandemic, they managed to keep a friendly an safe environment. The aspect that I like the most about this place is the familiarity of the accomodation managers: they respond very fast to emails, and they are always willing to help and facilitate our day-to-day the best they can. Also, I would underline the high quality of the facilites, especially inside the flats: the kitchen (fully funcional and very illuminated), the bathroom (which includes a bathtub) and the room (very spatious) are of the highest standards. Also, wifi works very good and when there was a problem with it they solved it in a matter of two hours.

   Lived there 2019 to 2020 and would have lived longer if not the COVD19. I would say it is the best location you could get with a reasonable price. Two minutes to GS and 10 minutes to tesco metro. The staffs are friendly and helpful. You could always stop for a chat. The flat seems to be newly built so the furnishes are new. The room size is comparably larger than the Uni accommodation. So personally, I am quite satisfied with my experiences there. Definitely recommended!

   I lived here for a year and have to say, one of the all time best accommodations I have ever had the chance to stay at. The staff was golden from beginning to end, extremely helpful and friendly. Whenever we had a maintenance issue in our flat it would be fixed very quickly and with no fuss. Very close to the university, lots of bars and shops all around, supermarkets are a 2-5 min walk away. Genuinely a great place, would recommend to anyone.

   AMAZING! I would 100% recommend this accommodation to any student. You literally cannot get a better location for studying at Edinburgh University. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are lovely, the kitchen is great and the staff are so kind and helpful. Every friend who came to visit complimented it - I can't think of a better place to live in town. There are shops and restaurants near by and it is a central and safe area. The bins outside didn't bother me at all - like in the other review - and if you feel like you cant study here (don't know why that would be) the library is literally on the campus across the road so no issues. Best accommodation in Edinburgh!

   The rooms are quite nice. The security measures are appreciated. The updated lighting is lovely for focusing & easy on the eyes. The staff is really nice, friendly, & helpful. Only a 2 minute walk from the bus stop (convenient for kings buildings & vet students). So many convenient stores & such nearby (easy walking distance). Only inconvenience, in my experience, is if you face onto the back of festival theater-sometimes the trucks are rather loud at any given hour. I run a fan at night & that drowns out the noise enough to let me sleep, even as a light sleeper.
