I really enjoyed visiting this venue for the Fringe festival. Staff were helpful and the intimate space I was in worked well a one man show.
Two small intimate theatres on first and second floors. Lots of stairs. Theatres can get very warm. Small bar and toilets on the ground floor.
KCS theatre Co. pefroming at the Fringe is such a highlight in Edinburgh. Gothic, stylised victoriana, beautifully choreographed with fluid movement from the ensemble. A must see theatre group

Great atmosphere and theatre
An old building housing a number of performance rooms a large bar on the ground floor and a small bar on the third floor. The main bar serves bar snacks and a variety of beers "on tap" as well as wines and spirits. This area is a bit studenty, not well furnished but adequate. The venue rooms are of various sizes and accommodate the performances well. It's a Fringe venue so it needs some money spent on it but that is probably unlikely in the near future. The only toilets are in the basement which can be a bit inconvenient. Nevertheless, I'd say this is a good venue and the quality of shows on offer are very high.
