Pull&Bear should hire employees who are more polite, communicative, and capable of dealing with customers. I went to pick up my package and approached one of the sales assistants — the one with long curly dark hair and a freckle on her face. I politely told her that I was there to collect my package, and without even greeting me, she immediately took out the device to scan my QR code and said curtly, “One second.” I didn’t know whether she had gone to get the package or if the device was broken and she was going to get a new one. After several minutes of waiting, I approached another sales assistant with Asian features and explained that her colleague had left and hadn’t come back. She went to look for her colleague, and both of them returned with an attitude as if they were annoyed at life itself, and the girl with Asian features told me, “She told you to wait, so wait,” speaking to me rudely and disrespectfully. Finally, the other girl brought me my package, and I said, “Thank you. Oh, and please tell your colleague that there’s no need to talk to me rudely.” She looked at me in a hostile way, mumbled something I couldn’t understand, and turned around, giving me her back. These sales assistants seriously lack education and basic manners.

They send the wrong size. Return label rejected at drop off point. No way to contact Head office to sort it out. Not even a Chat Bot. Now the order isn’t recognised on line. Keep going round in circles.

Absolutely stellar experience at Pull & Bear Bristol—if you enjoy being treated like a criminal for simply shopping. First, let’s talk about their brilliant checkout system. No tills, no human interaction—just self-service card payments and the privilege of having your receipt sent to your phone (assuming you’re lucky enough to have signal). I purchased a T-shirt and some socks, removed the security tags as instructed, and walked out—only for the alarms to go off. Fantastic. The security guard, doing his job properly, asked for proof of purchase. No problem—I showed him my bank notification for Pull & Bear since, shocker, my receipt text hadn’t come through yet. He was reasonable and suggested I go back in to deactivate the tags. Enter the store assistant—the real star of this circus. Despite my bank notification clearly showing I had paid, she insisted I produce the actual receipt. I explained (again) that I had no signal, but she helpfully suggested I go stand by the doors to get some. Because, of course, I can magically summon mobile signal at will. When I pointed out how ridiculous this was, she then mouthed to the security guard that I had stolen the socks. Bold move, considering I had already provided proof of payment. Then came her power move—she withheld the socks I had just paid for. Apparently, being “rude” (aka questioning her absurd logic) was justification enough to confiscate my items. Meanwhile, the store alarms continued to go off, proving there were clearly issues with their system—not me. When my receipt finally loaded, she spun on her heels, muttered, “That’s all I needed,” and didn’t even bother checking the items against it. Top-tier professionalism right there. At this point, I asked for a full refund because, frankly, I refuse to shop somewhere that treats paying customers like shoplifters. As I left, she stood with the security guard, smirking like she’d won some kind of prize. Not sure what she thought she gained—since, oh right, I wasn’t actually shoplifting. To summarise: terrible service, unprofessional staff, and a checkout system so flawed it makes shopping here a risk. Pull & Bear, if you’re going to force customers into self-checkout with digital receipts, at least make sure your system works. Because right now, the only thing you’re successfully doing is driving customers away—permanently

After discovering PULL&BEAR in Bristol early this year we have continued to order from them online due to not having a store locally. Unfortunately on our Christmas order one of the items was unsuitable so I arranged a return, this was processed successfully however they charged 3.95 to process. This has never happened before and there was no information or notification that this charge would be incurred whilst arranging the refund. I challenged this and they would not budge, obviously I will no longer be purchasing from p&b for any gifts which may go over the 14 days returns to prevent any additional charges. You would think that over Christmas they would waiver this or extend the returns policy but no not the case.

Love the shop, nasty staff. Girl with black short hair, petite looked about 20. I went to take an item off a rail where it shouldn’t have been and she snatched it off me and told me to go find it at the front of the store. I explained it is my size and would save her the time putting it back… after all I was right there. She scowled at me and said ‘front of store’. Then the machines didn’t work at checkout and another colleague suggested we were stealing because the machine didn’t print a receipt and my friend needed help with the security tag. Not sure I’ll be returning anytime soon.

Ordered over £400 worth of items 3 weeks ago - still not delivered, contacted support multiple times to request refund but refused, and zero contact since. I will be reporting to ombudsman for misconduct , violation of consumer act. Be very careful when purchasing from this company, if anything goes wrong - you will not get your money back!

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experience at your Bristol store. On 25/01/23, I made a purchase of a pair of jeans and on 27/01/23, I proceeded to return the item. When the sales assistant processed the return and I approached my mobile phone to the card machine, I noticed that the amount was lower than it should have been. I promptly informed the assistant and the manager came over to assist. He repeatedly ran my card with different amounts, promising to return the correct amount. However, to my shock and disbelief, I discovered today (06/02/23) that I had only received a refund of £1.99. When I visited the store, I was told to contact customer service, which I find unacceptable. This situation is unacceptable and I feel cheated by your company. The manner in which the manager made me run my card multiple times with the promise of a correct refund, only to be misled and have money stolen from me, is disgraceful. I demand a full refund of the incorrect amount. I look forward to your prompt resolution of this matter.

We come into your store today (7th January 2023 @ 12:56.) The customer service me and my partner received was actually appalling. We were waiting in the queue, firstly the lady behind the till let someone in front of us at first but we let that slip. I had items to refund so I took my bag to the till and handed the lady the receipt explaining I would like to return these items, her response was snatching the receipt out of my hand and rolling her eyes several times and muttering under her breathe. I paid in cash £85 previously on what I was returning and the rest was card. She decided to refund me £9.04 in cash and the rest on card when all I needed to be refunded was £83.97 so a cash refund would have made more send. She then asked us to show proof of our card, told us to insert our card for refund then once I done this she then said oh you shouldn’t have done that you should have used your Apple Pay and smirked, then went quiet and gave me cash and yet again rolled her eyes. To be honest I’m not even sure if I’m going to get my refund correctly, but I can see that is the worst customer service me and my partner have received to the point it felt like she had a huge issue with the both of us personally, and we have never met her before. It’s sad as I always have had a positive experience in this store, but this ladies service was disgusting and has put me off coming in ever again. For someone in customer service, to roll your eyes, talk about your customers in a negative way and mumble and snatch things out of their hands is not the way to present your store.

As an avid customer of Pull and Bear I was left extremely disappointed and angry after my experience in the Cabot’s store today. The changing rooms were closed due to repairs, but I was told they would be open shortly. Myself, along with other customers formed a queue outside the changing rooms to await a member of staff to open them. After waiting a few minutes I approached two members of staff who were having a conversation on the opposite side of the store. I was told by who I assume was the manager that she was ‘in a staff meeting’ and would be over soon. Her tone was aggressive and rude. She then came over to the changing rooms shortly after and said ‘I was in a staff meeting, not just having a chat, so.’ She also rolled her eyes. We were met with no apology or even a gentle smile. Her attitude towards customers, but also staff was clear as other members of staff also seemed defensive and generally not friendly. After reading other reviews I can see that this is an ongoing issue amongst this store for many months. There has clearly not been any changes made by Pull and Bear to amend these issues. Either train staff properly or get rid of them.
