I go there mainly to meet up for the walk but it's a great asset. There are lots of clubs going on. There's a cafe. They have movies. There's maybe more lapidary going on here then almost anywhere else I can think!

Without places like this Glasgow would be a lot lonelier and less community spirited. I hope whatever funding the Council has is kept towards these much needed hubs. Losing a star for charging £10 for a big breakfast. Feels a little overpriced vs the local cafes.

Very much the hub of the local community. Knightswood Community Centre offers something for everyone. Whether you are interested in art, photography, Singing in the community choir (Singergie), or keeping fit with yoga, dance, and zumba classes. This centre offers it all. There is also a free walking group offering hour long health walks for those who prefer excercise in the fresh air Young parents/carers can socialise whilst working out with their babies at a Sweaty Mama's class or Boogie Babies. (Music and movement for the little ones) There are separate Easy Excercises for seniors who might find regular classes to challengeing. The centre also houses the Glasgow Senior Citizens Orchestra. The Centre has a competitively priced cafe open to everyone and well maintained toilet facilities. Most important of all, they have a wonderful, welcoming staff team who are always willing to stop and chat to the folks using the centre for whatever reason. Knightswood Community Centre is a VIP. Very Important Place!
