My little girl has absolutely loved her Easter Drama Camp and her drama classes during term time with Mix Up Theatre. At home and with people she knows she is really outgoing but can be quite shy in new environments. This class has really helped her come out of that shell a wee bit and also provide a place for her to use her imagination with kids she wouldn't normally play with. Such a great class Stewart and the team are fun and engaging - would totally recommend!

My child has been going to Mix Up Theatre, initially through a class which started up at her school. I think that was in 2018. Other than missing it due to the pandemic, my child not only goes to the class in school but also now attends the class held after school. The school class is close in age and takes place at dinner time: it's lots of fun activities and there are regular shows, to showcase the work the kids have been doing for the parents and carers and other relatives. The evening class is the same and has regular shows. The class very much puts the emphasis on fun: there's lots of learning going on and confidence being built but it's all so much fun that the kids don't really realise they are learning and building confidence: it just happens naturally! Stewart and those working for him are brilliant teachers: they are very inspiring and make the class fun (did I mention fun?!). The older kids come along to help out sometimes, which adds to the experience for both. Mix Up Theatre also does Easter and Summer classes over a Monday to Friday in the morning for primary age children and my child also attends these. Here, the kids not only put together and perform a play but they also do art in the guise of creating a scene against which to act. All in all, these are great classes and are the highlight of my childs' week. I would encourage anyone whose child like to act or who needs to build their confidence to try out Mix Up Theatre: you will not be disappointed!!!
