We moved our son from mainstream education to Educare in Year 2 just before the pandemic. All the stress that we had experienced with his former primary school dissipated. We liked Educares approach to the curriculum. Children get to really immerse themselves into a subject area. Communication with the school is easy and there is a wonderful community of teachers, children, parents and carers.

We are very lucky to find a perfect place for our daughter where she can thrive in a friendly creative environment with many activities. What’s the most important it is our daughter’s smile everyday when we pick her up from school and listening about amazing things she did during the day:).

We have 2 kids at Educare and are extremely happy with the school. Kids are given the time and space to develop at their own pace and focus on what interests them. It has a really loving, family feel and we love the focus on the outdoors, art, music, Alexander technique, etc that forms an integral part of Educare life. 5 stars all the way from us.

Educare small school is a hidden gem in Kingston. It is a family of amazing teachers, children and parents. Teachers nurture every child's learning journey; older and younger children play together and look after each other; parents are best friends. My daughter (4 years old) summarises it well "I love school mummy" The kindergarten provides the perfect introduction to school with the right mix of play, learning, outdoor activities, arts and sports. Working parents can also get the 30h/15h free childcare in full. I do not know any other places that do that. It is the best decision we made!

Our son has attended Educare for the last 3 years, starting in Kindergarten when he was 3. I can’t recommend this school highly enough. Being a small school it offers a very comfortable yet well structured learning environment, and each child is allowed to develop at their own pace. This is what we loved so much right from the start - no pushing to meet arbitrary educational milestones, just an environment to foster the children’s natural curiosity and creativity, and develop a lifelong love of learning. And our son is doing great on every level, he loves going to school and is meeting and even exceeding the EYF milestones (not that it matters to me!). Every week each class goes to Forest school for half a day, which incorporates learning in and from the natural environment. There are lots of other outings in the local area (my son knows more about the history of kingston than I do, and he’s only 6!!) and further afield - museums, parks, farms, to name a few. In September my 3 year old daughter will be joining the Kindergarten and she can't wait. And neither can we. The Kindergarten was wonderful for my son and I know my daughter will love it too. A true gem of a school!
