We have had the most wonderful experience at this nursery. The staff are fantastic and they really do care about the welfare and development of the children. I get a sense that they are all very experienced and know the children really well. We couldn't be happier and our little boy feels the same - he has built great relationships with everyone and is very settled.

Young staff looking bored, franchise branch so curriculum not seem to tailor to individual needs

Both my children have loved going to nursery here. The staff are lovely and speak to the children with kindness and respect. All the rooms lead out onto the gardens and the kids have a lot of space to play on bikes. My eldest learnt how to ride a balance bike at nursery. The food is fresh, delicious and filling. Most importantly my daughter is happy and loves attending nursery. Keep up the good work

Since the purchase by Bright Horizons, that nursery has become a real mess. My son started in the nursery room when he was 2 and moved to the preschool room. My daughter is in the baby room. The nursery is constantly understaffed lately and the rooms, particularly the baby room, don't respect the adult-to-children ratios, which I believe put children in danger. I saw a big change since Bright Horizons group took over. The nursery management has changed multiple times over the past year and the current manager is never around. There is either no one in the office (parents sometimes wait 15 minutes for someone to come open the door for them) or a member of the staff is in the office instead of being in the rooms caring for the children. I have talked to 4 other parents who are unhappy with the way the nursery is being run but they don't know how to report the issue without upsetting the people who look after their children all day. In any other nursery, there are two people in the office: the manager and the assistant manager. In the Richmond Queens Road Nursery, there is only one member of staff doing admin exclusively: the nursery's manager, and she is never around. The rest of the admin is shared between the rooms' managers who spend their time in the office instead of looking after the children. Parents never receive any updates from the nursery or development reports for the children. There is no organised learning in preschool and parents feel like children are not being taught anything. There is no proper learning material or some kind of toddlers exercise book where parents could see what children do/learn. Parents are never consulted on what they would like for their children at nursery. At 2 k per month for a baby attending full time, the level of service provided is really poor. The staff is absolutely lovely and care for the children a lot but there are not enough employees in that nursery to provide the level of care parents expect, especially at such a pricey nursery.
