   Shannon Childcare is a truly homely nursery with the most wonderful and caring staff. They looked after my now 7-year-old and are currently caring for my 3-year-old, and I could not be more grateful. Many of the staff have been there for years, which really shows in the consistency and care they provide. They have been such a strong foundation for both my children, and I deeply value the time they have spent there. Alyson runs the nursery with such passion for early years education, and it shines through in everything she does. I would not hesitate to recommend Shannon Childcare to any parent looking for a nurturing, family-feel setting.

   Shannon Childcare was my daughters 1st nursery and she absolutely loved the experience of this nursery. My daughter was so attached to me that I was concerned she would not settle down in a nursery. During my initial visit all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Alyson and Ilhan were always available to offer support, all the teachers worked extremely hard and they all took the time to understand her needs, likes, dislikes and made every effort to keep her happy, which as a parent alleviated any fears or concerns I had prior to her starting. I want to share my appreciation for all their efforts, hard work and their continued effort to give 100% to all the parents and children. I wish all the best to all the staff x

   Our son has been going to Shannon’s since he was 9 months old. They have been amazing with him! Constant communication with parents and incredibly nurturing and supportive. Our son loves going to nursery every morning which is a real joy to see. They are also incredibly knowledgable when it comes to picking schools and the support we’ve had from them has been invaluable.

   Couldn't recommend enough! The teachers at Shannon's are true gems! They are incredibly patient, caring, and dedicated to creating a positive and stimulating learning environment. They have a knack for connecting with each child individually and fostering their unique talents and interests. Shannon's maintains open and consistent communication with parents. We receive regular updates on our child's progress, and the teachers and Alyson are always available to answer any questions or address any concerns. All my children will be going to Shannon's Nursery.

   If you are looking for a job within a nursery setting please AVOID this place! The owner is extremely rude, she will mess around and cause you a lot of stress. I went for a job interview years ago and I had a job trial only to not hear back from her and the second time I went back a few years later I did my NVQ 3 in Childcare online and apparently that wasn't good enough plus she went out the gym or shopping whilst I was there leaving her staff in charge and I was only told after my qualification isn't valid despite having years of working in a nursery setting! This nursery is extremely small, the care is really good but I am only giving my honest opinion about Alyson!

   Quite simply the best start to my children's future. The care and attention to detail, as well as the nurturing and forward thinking approach Shannon provides all the children, is simply the best we could have asked for. Both my children enjoy going to Shannon so much that it is like a second home for them. They have each developed considerably and have both been prepared for the next steps into their education. They are equipped with the best possible skills to help them make even more progress. The staff are incredibly supportive, caring and approachable. Highly recommended setting for children.

   We have sent all 3 of our daughters to Shannon and cannot rate the staff and set up highly enough. Our 18mo daughters squeal with excitement as we pull up each morning and they adore the fun and varied activities organised for them by the amazingly dedicated staff, each and every day. The setting creates the perfect “home from home” feel, the team provides the most for warm, friendly, supportive, loving and nurturing environment and the quality of care and commitment are unparalleled.

   Our son joined when he was 9 months old. We've watched him grow into a wonderfully happy toddler. He's inquisitive, talkative, passionate about learning, caring, and most important of all, he's loved when he's away from home. He adores his carers and friends and talks about them at weekends. Dropping him off every morning and watching him run inside squealing with joy is one of the best experiences you can have before going to work. We couldn't have chosen a more loving and professional place for him! We've already secured a place for his baby sister who was born a few weeks ago!
