We used Zikora for >5 years for our 2 daughters, both different personalities, and both of whom thrived on their watch. This included the challenging Covid period. Most of the staff are long-standing, and looked after them throughout with excellent continuity of care. Our children were given a variety of experiences - gardening, music, sports days; the nursery manager even built an airport and beach to help children feel like they were on holiday during Covid. We received regular reports on their development, and pictures and observations on their nursery activities. Both developed friendships that continued after they left & started school. The nursery is modern and clean, with excellent facilities, and in close proximity to Forest Lane Park. From a practical perspective, we found the fact it is opposite Maryland tube station, has safe and secure adult & child bike storage, and has relatively long hours of opening to be extremely helpful managing drop offs and pick-ups around work. We have nothing but fond memories and gratitude for the incredible care they received throughout this time, and would highly recommend Zikora highly to anyone.

Zikora is an excellent nursery and I can only say the best about it and the team that is managing the children on a day to day basis. We sent our daughter to Zikora when she was 10 months old and the first thing that caught our attention (in a positive way) was that the team wanted to meet her first before accepting her (showing that they are not just about making money). While we were a little worried sending our daughter to nursery at only 10 months (we had no choice really), she integrated with all the other children and the team at Zikora really quickly. She always came back home happy and enjoyed the food and the activities at nursery. Fast forward almost two years and the progress our daughter has made has been great (in terms of her motor skills, communication, her curiosity and the way she interacts and plays with other children). Some of the highlights of Zikora in my opinion are the sensory playroom(which our daughter loved), the app that is updated throughout the day so we could track her progress regularly(included photos of her doing various activities being added on the app), the quarterly meetings with the staff as well as regular events organised by the team to celebrate different religious and cultural holidays where parents were invited to the nursery(this included Christmas, Diwali, Halloween and a Sports Day in the park during summer where kids and parents engaged in fun sports activities together). Another great benefit as working parents is that the nursery is open from 7am till 7pm. The team at Zikora have almost become like second family and the children attending the nursery are very international (from different cultural and religious backgrounds). Our daughter is leaving nursery this month as we are moving out of the city but I can recommend Zikora to any parent that is looking for a friendly, welcoming, professional and well managed nursery.

Our experience with Zikora is very positive. It’s like second home. Groups are small, everyone knows each other. Children know all the ladies there so they don’t feel gaps if someone is away or has left. Practionioners are angels and they truly love children. They always greet my daughter with smile or cuddle. Mohammed is a great manager, very enthusiastic and dedicated. He knows a lot about every single child. Children just adore him! I also like the simplicity of this place. No social media that obviously require staff to spend time on and no paid activities that could exclude some children. They do many interesting activities and teach kids good manners. I see progress in my child’s development every single day. The place is very clean and they have high hygiene standards. Children always change their outdoor shoes to slippers. Seriously, this is not happening in any of the nurseries I’ve visited (shocking!). They massively helped us with potty training and I will be eternally grateful for that. They are not money-oriented and I don’t think any nursery can beat their prices and hours (7 to 7). I moved my daughter to Zikora from another nursery and it’s been the best decision ever. Finally I got piece of mind. Now I know it’s not a fancy facility and nice garden that matter, it’s the staff and management.

We enrolled our 2 yr old daughter to Zikora when we moved into the area and we've been thoroughly impressed and forever grateful to the fantastic Zikora team. We're gutted to be moving, as we'll be hard pressed to find another nursery like them. They have created a wonderful, holistic, and conducive environment where children are not only taught numbers, letters, and motor skills, but also how to be kind and caring as to one another, looking out for the younger groups when they have combine play. I love it when my daughter came home telling me this older child helped her tie her apron, another older child shared the toys he was playing and now she's one of the older children and it's her turn to be kind to the younger ones. They have very detailed and in-depth learning programs for each age group and beautifully logged experiences and photographs of my child. Reading each log always brings a smile to my face. The Zikora team is always thinking up of new experiences to add fun to learning. They recently put an indoor play "bus" together and even created a busstop, bus passes with their photos etc and the children take turns to drive and be passengers. Community wise, the parents I've met have been super friendly and caring of both thw nursery and each other. Best choice we've made. And we're going to miss everyone.

My son attended Zikora from the age of 8.5 months for around one year and it was such a great experience. The nursery is extremely good value, even though it seems to be more spacious and have better facilities than other nurseries in the area. Additionally, it has very long opening hours which is very helpful for working parents. Children are able to participate in a wide variety of activities even from a very young age. I really appreciated Mohammed's enthusiasm and dedication, he is very passionate about his work and always coming up with new creative ideas to stimulate and develop the children. The rest of the team are great as well, always cheerful and giving some feedback about how the day went. I always felt well informed about what my son was doing while he was there, and how he was developing. I am very glad we chose Zikora and would definitely recommend it to other parents looking in the area.

Our daughter has been attending the baby room at Zikora Day Nursery and the standard of care, since day one, has been fantastic. The team in the baby room really get to know the children and offer each one of them their own individual level of care, with a firm understanding of what’s required to engage with them and subsequently help them develop and grow. It’s very clear how fond the children are of the staff, and there’s an obvious bond between them all, which is incredibly heartening to see. Because of this, our daughter looks forward to going to nursery each day, and comes home with a smile on her face. Since starting at Zikora, we have seen her social skills and personality develop so much, and she has blossomed in other areas as well - we can only recommend them to other parents.

My DS went to Zikora at 13 months and stayed there until 2.7 yo, when we moved out of London. I am very grateful for the care he received there. He has learned how to count, recite the alphabet, and sing many songs. In the nursery children learn to plant flowers and vegetables, then see them grow and sometimes make a dinner from them! It’s amazing! I don’t know any nursery in East London which does this. My son comes from the nursery and starts to take off and put on his shoes and coat by himself! The manager Mohammed is very dedicated and strives to provide new interesting and educational activities such as pottery and wood work. The staff who looks after kids are fantastic and very supportive. They suggested for a long time I start to potty train DS, which I had thought him too young for, but thankfully I took their advise and with their support he is now fully trained (except for his nightly sleep). I would definitely recommend Zikora Day Nursery to everyone who wants good care and great development for their child while they work.
