My granddaughter started at The Garden Pre-school in January 2023. She was only 2 and I was a little apprehensive about how she would get along there. From the first day my granddaughter has loved every second being there. In fact all the children seem to be happy and excited to go in at the beginning of the day and reluctant to leave at the end of the day. I cannot praise the staff there enough, they are all very caring and loving towards the children but with a nice level of control. The children all seem so respectful of the staff and listen when they are being shown or asked to do something. The learning at the Pre-school is done in such a fun exciting way and my granddaughter has gone from maybe saying a couple of words to being able to tell me everything she has done in the day time. She also loves the Forest School and on our walk home we stop and look at the horses and she tells me what is a tree, bush or flowers. The Pre-school spends a lot of time outside which is why we originally picked it, but it has really gone above any of my expectations. Communication between the staff and parents is excellent verbally and through the management app where daily updates are posted so that you can see what the children have done during the day. I love this as I can then ask my granddaughter about different elements of her day when I collect her. I highly recommend The Garden Pre-school and couldn't be happier that my granddaughter goes there.

Beautiful grounds. Correspondence and feedback is poor. Every day is "they had such a lovely day", omitting any honest dialogue or updates regarding any potential struggles, injuries or toilet accidents they may have had duting the day. Feedback Indid receive about my 3.5 year old on parent's day was that they need to learn how to share... Try to raise any concerns yourself or provide feedback and you are unfortunately met with either silence or a very passive aggressive and condescending owner who will somehow make you feel as though their mistake/concern within the setting is a fault of your own. I would certainly not consider sending my child here if they have any SEN requirements or neuro-diversities, as the skillset, patience and duty of care is just not there. :( Also, if you decide to send your child here, don't be fooled by the offer of a fireworks display/event, you will just be watching the tops of the fireworks you might just be able to see over the tips of the trees from the Norman Park display!

My son started at The Garden Pre-School a few weeks ago and has settled in beautifully. He has just turned two and, having been out of childcare for a long time, I was concerned as to how it would be to leave him. Well I needn’t have worried as all the staff at The Garden Pre-School have been incredibly kind, supportive and caring in making sure that my son feels happy and secure. In the first week teachers even took the time to update me regularly throughout each day, via phone calls, online messaging and photos as to how he had settled and the numerous fun activities he was taking part in. As an Early Years Teacher myself I am always very interested in other settings and having taken much time looking into different childcare options my husband and I were certain that the Garden Pre-School was the right place for our little boy. The outdoor area is always well maintained with fantastic equipment to allow children to explore safely and, as well as both the indoor and outdoor classrooms, there is an on-site Forest School, something which I personally believe is highly beneficial to children’s physical development as well as promoting independent exploration and imagination. I have already seen so much progress with regards to my sons speech, play and social behaviours. He runs out everyday with a huge smile on his face whilst shouting ‘bye bye friends’ and on the journey home when asked if he had a good day he replies ‘Yes, fun!’ As a parent, this is an amazing and reassuring thing to hear and I thank the staff at The Garden Pre-School for their hard work and dedication to the children they care for.

My grandson has really loved being at The Garden Pre-School since he joined at just 2years of age. All the teachers have encouraged him all the way through & have really helped us with his speech & mobility issues to make sure he has all the help to develop in these areas. He’s now getting ready for going to infant school in September & he’s learning in such a fun way that he really enjoys everyday.

My son started at the Garden Pre School a few weeks ago and has been having a fantastic time. I have noticed his speech and understanding has improved immensely since then as well as developing relationships with other kids and learning new skills. The staff are wonderful and the pre-school itself is well equipped and maintained. The fees are incredibly reasonable and I’m so happy I chose to send my son here!! Thank you Garden Pre-School!

Such a beautiful setting with amazing facilities and resources. We really do love this Pre School! The teachers are so amazing and really nurture the children. The rapport with parents is brilliant and we have such clear and easy to use communication tools which keep us updated with daily events and activities along with our children’s development. It really does feel like a community and my son will miss everyone so much when he moves to Primary School but my daughter is eagerly waiting in the wings to take his place. Highly recommend!
