   In February, YPS gave my daughter the opportunity to perform in ‘As You Like It’ at Esher Theatre - and to play a piano piece she’d composed inspired by the play. They are a very dedicated and caring team - putting in extra rehearsal time, and giving my daughter a huge boost to her confidence. The whole performance was outstanding, with a very talented group of young actors.

   I was scared to join because I didn’t know anyone but everyone made me feel welcome and I look forward to classes every week. I’ve learnt so many skills and I’ve become more confident in myself. I’ve used lots of things I’ve learnt in lessons out of lessons in day to day life and in other drama classes like my school drama. I would definitely recommend for those looking for classes or wanting to join the industry as we’ve met lots of the industry and done classes with them. I discovered the classes through school when lily came in and I will be forever grateful.

   I enrolled my girls in YPS for the acting classes and they also took part in the Accent Masterclass later on. Various professionals were brought in through the duration of the term to work with the children also and I can honestly say that my daughters acting skills have improved tremendously, I’ve watched them grow in confidence and they’re at a point in their lives where they feel they can actually take on any role. Lily is such a treasure. You can tell that she has a genuine passion for what she does and as such is heavily invested in each cild, this is evident in the way she lovingly encourages them to put in their best in order to reach their full potential. I’d recommend anyone who has a child that is interested in acting to enroll them at YPS. Location is not a deterrent as there are online classes (which my girls were a part of). Oh, I have to mention this…the montage sent to the parents at the end of the term was amazing! I felt like I was seeing my girls in a movie :)

   My daughter joined YPS earlier this year. She has learnt such a lot in a little space of time. Lily is an extremely professional and hands on coach. A big highlight of the classes is the workshops that are provided by industry professionals. Lily gives so much for a very competitive price. They definitely get a 5 star rating from us.

   YPS is a fabulous acting school. After looking for sooooo long for a school that would encourage my son with his love of drama, but without the added pressure of dance and singing, I was so grateful to find Lily’s classes. He really enjoys meeting up with the other participants each week and the ongoing communication from Lily is outstanding.

   This school is fantastic for children and young adults who are serious about acting. The YPS founder, Lily is full of energy and enthusiasm and has a highly professional but friendly approach. Both my children have loved taking part in her classes - in person and online - and have gained confidence as well as new skills. Highly recommended.
