My daughter attended Hydrokidz lessons at Danesfield Manor for over three years. She has made very good progress and really enjoys the lessons, so much so that she didn't want to discontinue lessons after we moved county. I highly recommend Hydrokidz Swim School.
My daughter has attended Hydrokidz for over 2.5 years. She has made brilliant progress with Sarah and I can see her confidence growing with each lesson. Sarah is extremely patient and encouraging and makes the lessons enjoyable. All the staff are enthusiastic and engaging.
My son has been attending lessons at Danesfield for two years now and has made an incredible progress. The pool is warm and a good size and class size is small which allows a teacher to give everyone enough attention. Louisa is great at ensuring kids work on their technique as well as getting enough practice in the water and the lead teacher Sarah is very approachable should you want a chat about your child's progress. I would highly recommend HydroKidz
My two boys who are 5 and 7 have swim here for over 2 years now. The venue is great with a small car park but plenty of free parking on the road. The pool is on the small size but perfect for their ages. Bench seating for the adults and it’s warm which helps if kids feel the cold. All the staff are lovely and friendly and Julie and Amelia who teach my boys at the moment are great - very engaged and encouraging. Both my boys have progressed beyond their age level and continue to progress well. And they are happy and feel safe in the pool. Excellent!
Love these classes, and so do the kids! It’s great to be greeted by a smiling Jack each week. The instructors know all the kids names, and they really try to instil an enjoyment of the water in the kids. Sarah is the first teacher to ‘get’ my son’s love of being underwater and it’s made all the difference. The pool room is well heated keeping the kids warm, but as a parent remember to wear layers or you’ll find yourself enjoying a free sauna session!
Unfortunately I made a mistake joining this swim class for my children. Its a small pool in a very small building. Its very cramp. They do 3 classes at once making 3 lanes in the pool so it's a very small area for each lesson. I wanted to cancel my membership on the first lesson but I was told by the lead instructor I could bring my youngest son by the pool as he has to be in a stroller. Suddenly two months later I was rudely told by a different teacher I can't bring a stroller in again and that i was never told I could. As i can't come anymore I spoke to the management about it but sadly they didn't know the rules either and had to find out. To cut a long story short they weren't any help and I have to cancel and they won't even give me a refund on money I paid in advance and made out to me they were being generous not charging me for the next month as well. My experience with hydrokidzswim has been very bad!
