I highly recommend this school in terms of both good staff and the education programme. My children got A** and A* in their arabic GCSE. Many thanks for the head teacher and the staff.

My kids joined this year (reception, year 1, year 4), I am really happy with the progress in their language, the headteacher is well organise the school, and all teachers are friendly and they provide formal and written feedback three times and are able to answer any question at the end of each day. Quran lessons are very good and the kids taught to memories and understand meaning of good number of Quran surahs. I strongly recommend the school to other parents.

This is a family business where an experienced couple & their girls pour out their hearts into teaching the next generation- their mother tongue language, Arabic. They always show utmost care in every student and they are very determined to make all the children capable of reading, speaking and writing Arabic. My daughter just started in January. She already knows over 10 Suras from the Quraan by heart. I am very pleased.

I would like to thank the administration team and teaching staff for the marvellous job they are doing. They are taking the responsibility to educate our children the Arabic language. Many parents do not appreciate that learning Arabic will not only make their children stand out from other job applicants in the future, but will also offer the opportunity to work in influential Middle Eastern countries. The school is doing an amazing job and I really appreciate the time and excellent effort they are putting year after year for the sake of our children. Strongly recommended.

Year 1 Review - Negative I must admit, as much as i would hate to review people negatively, i really feel there is a need to say so in such occasions for pure constructive criticism. The school headteacher attitude lacks empathy when it comes to issues faced with certain teachers. The concern is that this is turning more into a business rather than an education pure focus is the sucess of the kids. Quite disappoiinted with their inappropriate approach to conerns and shrugging them off as irrelevant. Using the typical statements (all my teachers are great) sounds arrogant and worrisom. Because parents do need to voice conerns, and it's the headteacher's duty to respect such concerns, invistigate and keep an eye out on things as they happen. Haven spoken to three other parents, I was slightly surprised that they all had friends who did bring their kids to school and then decided to stop due to the this attitude faced. Year (reception) Review - Positive My son of age 6 has started at Al Amal school and from the kick off we were really impressed. He learned al shahadah from day one of attending something other schools seems to forget when they teach religious education. My son was so pleased and excited with the way he was taught from day one. He is keen to attend the lessons, learn new things and interact with others. As this is early stages we are still unsure if the teaching style is more like british schools where they inject fun and activities into the lesson or similar to the way we do in the middle east.
