Visited Decathlon today on a very busy Boxing Day and had outstanding service from Arthur, the bike technician. Despite how hectic the store was, Arthur took the time to listen carefully to what I needed and gave clear, honest advice on which electric bike would suit me best. He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, without any pressure, and also recommended the right accessories specifically tailored to my needs. His knowledge, patience, and professionalism were second to none, and he genuinely went above and beyond to make sure I left confident in my choice. It’s rare to receive such excellent customer service, especially on one of the busiest days of the year. Arthur is a real credit to Decathlon and made the whole experience enjoyable. Highly recommend asking for him if you’re looking for e-bike advice.

Emily has been super star helping my child to get the items she needs for a trip to Santa Clause village. Emily is very patient with a lovely smile and very positive attitude. She answered all of my questions and gave me a valuable advice. If you go to Decathlon Livingston as for her as she is the best !!

Visited Decathlon Livingston to pick up a set of gloves and a hat. Forgot how much I loved shopping at Decathlon. Think you're missing a trick with the vinyl strips hanging from hooks though, you could easily make those branded tape measures. Ended up leaving with three bags of kit, Ryan on the checkout was a star, easy to chat with, yet focused on an efficient transaction. Unfortunately I had to nip back to try and get a different package as one had been tampered with, so he was also very helpful. The design of the checkout he was using isn't ergonomically sound, so you might want to look into that across the board. Definitely be back soon. Look after your good staff.

Emily brilliant at searching out & reaching stock i could not get to, even though she is not that tall. Explained the car park system & put items aside so I could sort out accessible parking. Will shop here again if I'm passing, no longer a store in my locality.

First time shopping at Decathlon, and what an incredible experience! I went in with one mission — to get kitted out for camping with friends at a toddler festival — but had no idea where to start. Shopping with my energetic 4-year-old is always a challenge, yet Emily made it stress-free from the moment we met. She kept my daughter entertained with stickers, a friendly chat, and even some pretend play so I could focus. Emily gave excellent advice on the tent I chose and explained sleeping bag togs in a way that made perfect sense. She highlighted the benefits of their junior products over other high street options, which really helped me decide. While my daughter was kayaking in-store, Emily acted like a personal shopper, making sure I didn’t forget essentials like a mallet and tent pegs. Her knowledge, friendliness, and genuine kindness are rare in retail these days. We left with a tent, two sleeping bags, an airbed, pegs, and a mallet — and even came back minutes later for a nightlight my daughter had spotted. Exceptional service from an exceptional staff member — thank you, Emily.

I was looking to start cycling after recovering from an ankle fracture and I wasn’t sure what I should go for but luckily, I have met an amazing staff Marco in the Livingston store who took his time to guide me. He even got me to try one of the road bikes. I took his advice and went home to do more research. I came back to the shop and luckily, he was on duty and I bought the GRAVEL BIKE TRIBAN RC 120. This is an excellent bike and I’ve already done over 100 miles on it. I took the bike for free servicing at the end of the 3 months. Arthur did a very good job on the bike as the breaks were making noise. He also help me to adjust the sit to my hight and I purchased a lubrication for maintaining the bike. He took his time and advise me on how to maintain the bike. To be honest this has been the best experience I have had in a bike shop and all the shop assistant I have talked to in Livingston are great and very friendly.

It's great to have Decathlon in the area. As always great sports gear at competitive prices. Staff are helpful when the self check out isn't sometimes. Wide isles so it's not too congested like the Germiston Gait store.

Quite a disappointing store, from a personal point of view. Prices are not brilliant..quality ok. Staff probably on minimum wage and it shows. On the other hand it's easy access for parking...not free.. and wheelchair. The store is bright and airy.. Might just be me..but not impressed.
