My daughters have had a great experience at SSS, the teachers have the right balance of kindness and firmness and they all enjoy their classes. Their confidence and technique has come on really quickly and they are starting to swim beautifully. We are absolutely thrilled with the swimming lessons our child has received at Surrey Swim School. Our child has been attending for several years now, and the progress has been remarkable. Before joining Surrey Swim School, she attended several other schools, but none of them were consistent in terms of coaches, class sizes, teaching style, and progression. Since moving to Surrey Swim School, the improvement has been consistent and impressive. The class sizes are always kept small, never more than 5 pupils, which ensures that each child gets the attention they need. The continuous assessment and movement up the grades have kept our child motivated and excited about swimming. Joe and his team do a fantastic job. Their dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for the children's progress are evident in every lesson. We truly love going swimming every week and seeing our child's confidence and skills grow. Amazing swim school. Both of my children have attended and both were very nervous of the water to begin with but the teachers are so kind and don’t make them do anything they’re not comfortable with. We actually moved them to a closer school for convenience but ended up going back as it just wasn’t as good! They now love the water and their confidence has grown massively.
My 4 years old daughter has done 2 terms with the school and I could not be happier. She loves going to her swimming lessons and her instructors Amy and Ellie are fantastic and super nice with their children. My daughter has always loved the water but the girls have taught her the techniques that she needs to be a confident swimmer. Definitely recommend the Surrey Swim School.
My children have swum from strength to strength under the instruction of the teachers. We moved our daughter from the usual leisure centre swimming lessons. The classes were too big, she wasn’t getting focused instruction, she was sitting outside the water not getting practice. She was sitting in the same stage for almost 2 years. That all changed when we found Surrey Swim School. For my son, an incident in his old lessons when he was about 3, had him put off lessons in a bad way. The staff were not mindful not present in a way that could have prevented the outcome of the incident . Surrey Swim School worked with my son’s confidence level, with two teachers in the water for young children. This meant when he needed he had 1-1 support. He is now like a fish in water. He loves it.
Would hugely recommend this Swim School. Their approach is excellent across the board from young beginners who lack confidence, as our daughter did to begin with, to older more experienced learners. They have also been very patient indeed with our youngest son, spending a lot of time with him and making sure he is comfortable and happy in the water. The teachers are friendly and encouraging and it is very well run. They regularly monitor the progress of the children with end of term assessments and awards/certificates. Both our children have attended this school after moving from another school in the area and they look forward to going every week. Thank you to everyone at this fantastic school!
My children have been learning to swim with Surrey Swim School for the last 5 years. They are now 8yrs and 5yrs. They love every minute of their lessons. They have both progressed extremely well. The teachers are wonderful and very professional, always putting the safety of the children first. A truly fantastic swim school. I highly recommend it!
