After having a scary fall during the night and experiencing excruciating pain in my side I went to the A and E and discovered I had broken a couple ribs. Didn’t have to wait long before being given a thorough examination, treatment advice and pain relief. From the warm welcome at reception to the expertise of the student nurse and doctor and other staff on duty I was extremely impressed. Unfortunately I don’t have names of individuals but I do hope my appreciation can be passed on to all involved.

I had a fall today in Glencoe so went to the Belford to have my leg checked - fractured Fibula! I have to say, the staff in this hospital are amazing and their process is excellent. I cannot thank them enough for their care, support and treatment!

The team in A&E last night where amazing in keeping me informed but not panicked after my fall and head injury; i was clearly in shock and significantly injured but each member did their part to make me feel safe and cared for. Every member I came across where kind, professional and went out of their way to support me through out and with my after care. I thank each and every member of the team for their care they showed to myself and my partner .

Had to go to the urgent care for a sensitive issue while on holiday. Honestly, everyone was so kind, compassionate and professional from the clerks, to the nurses and doctor. I barely had to wait, they sent me out with everything I needed! Such a wonderful experience that contrasted deeply with our system in Canada.

We were so grateful to the A and E Department of this hospital whilst we were on holiday. Our 16 year old son who has a complex medical history became unwell whilst in our apartment. We took him straight to the hospital and were met with greatest compassion, empathy and professionalism that we have ever experienced in the many times we have had to visit other hospitals in the UK. Our son was treated quickly and efficiently and above all we were reassured. We were discharged a few hours later but told to go back at any point if he deteriorated. Thankfully he went on to get better quickly and we, as a result, continued with our holiday. Thankyou to this hospital. You are the best we have ever come across and would feel more than safe to holiday here again in the future.

What an amazing team!! I was so apprehensive going in about having to go under anaesthesia being my first time. I was so anxious but the entire staff were incredible. They made me feel so comfortable and were so attentive after my surgery. They even phoned me to make sure I was doing ok after being discharged. Despite all the anxiety I went through beforehand, I will never again have the same level of hesitation and it’s all thanks to the wonderful staff. I was only there for the day on the Isobel Woods day case unit and every single member of staff including the charge nurses (one being a trainee nurse who was so unbelievably sweet!) and the theatre nurses, the surgeon and anaesthetist were all superb. Thanks for taking such good care of me!

What an excellent reception I had at A&E. After a minor accident while walking. I was deeply impressed at the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. It’s a bizarre thing to leave a review of a hospital but I wanted to express my gratitude to the nurses, doctor and radiologist and reception, all of whom could not have been caring and accommodating. Thank you so much!
