   Our daughter loved her time at Unity. The staff are caring, warm, compassionate and trustworthy. We felt she was safe and happy. Our daughter struggled to settle in at two different child care settings prior to starting at Unity, but within a few weeks she was happy and settled. She flourished in confidence as a result of the nuturing environment provided by the staff at Unity. She managed to do extremely well in private school assessments and moved onto Haberdashers Girls School. We highly recommend Unity to anyone considering a nursery.

   Unity is an exceptional nursery. I visited many nurseries in and around North London while searching for the right place for my son, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have found Unity. It is a true Montessori setting where every child is treated with kindness, respect, and genuine care. The team truly listen to the children and meet them exactly where they are. My son started as a shy and quite timid child, yet Unity embraced him for who he was and helped him grow into himself. Through their nurturing, patient approach, they fostered real confidence in him. It is genuinely a child-led environment where children are encouraged to flourish and become the best versions of themselves, all within a calm and supportive space. It is clear that Alex is deeply passionate about giving the children the best possible start to their education. Every Christmas she gifts the children something handmade by her mum, which says so much about the love and thought that goes into the nursery. Over the years they’ve taken the children to the local theatre, set out paddling pools in the summer so the little ones can splash and enjoy the sunshine, and in winter they’ve roasted sweetcorn around an outdoor fire while sipping hot chocolate. That’s on top of the rich indoor activities on offer – baking bread and cakes, learning Spanish, making and playing with salt dough, moulding with clay, knitting, and so much more. My son left Unity last summer and is now thriving in Reception. He had already covered much of what was taught in the first term at school thanks to the strong foundation he received at Unity (it certainly wasn’t coming from us at home!). More importantly, he loves learning. He’s curious, confident in asking questions, and happy to express his ideas – all a reflection of the way children explore and learn at Unity. I was genuinely sad when he left because it had been the most perfect first educational setting. I always felt he was safe, happy, and understood there. When I expressed how emotional I felt about the transition, Alex reassured me that he was ready for his next step. That meant so much and showed how the team care for us as parents as much as they care for the children. I cannot speak highly enough of Unity, and I’m so proud that both my son and now my daughter attend. Choosing Unity has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my children.

   Our daughter has been with Unity for over 2 years. The level of support, not just for our daughter but us as first time parents has been phenomenal. In particular one teacher Alena, whose unwavering support and dedication to our child has set us and our daughter on a path that quite simply would not have been possible without her. Our gratitude for this can’t really be expressed properly here. But it’s this level of quality which sets this place apart. We wholeheartedly recommend this nursery for your child.    Our daughter started at Unity in September. We were apprehensive about her settling in as she had not settled in at her previous nursery. All the staff at Unity are so warm and caring that within a few weeks our daughter was ready to say bye to us and confidently walk in on her own. We were so happy and surprised at how much she loved being there every day. Her speech and language had developed quickly and she has grown in confidence. We know she is well looked after and receive weekly updates on her progress. Thank you Alex and the team at Unity

   We especially recommend it to those who are looking for a small nursery school or have children who are unfamiliar with English! We came to the UK at the end of 2020 as expats from Japan. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, I had a hard time finding a kindergarten for my daughters, who were 2 and 3 years old at the time. I was interested in Montessori education and my kids had to start from scratch with their English skills, so I was looking for a small school. As we contacted them via email, they immediately set up a tour and trial session. It was heartwarming to see 2- to 4-year-olds spending time in the same space helping each other without being separated by age. The teachers at Unity were very kind and looked after my two daughters and us parents, who didn't know the area much, warmly. The Unity's friends and families are all wonderful people, and I can't believe how much they helped me! Before my youngest child was born, they supported my daughter's suggestion that she wanted to make a pillow for her, and they thought about how to make her idea come true and help her grow. Our girls spent two years surrounded by lots of love and moved on to primary school full of confidence. They really feel ““Play is the work of the child.” Unfortunately, because we moved from England, our youngest daughter was unable to attend Unity, but we would have loved to have her attend Unity if possible. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, activities outside the Unity seemed to be restricted for a while, but from 2022, the children have been walking to nearby parks and exploring nature! Parents also had the opportunity to participate in birthdays, graduation events, seasonal events, and various religious events, and it was great to see their children grow and see precious things we couldn't see at home. Cooking and water play were also my daughters' favorite activities. I pray for the continued success of my beloved Unity members! Let's meet again!

   When we started our search for a nursery, I visited most of the nurseries in and around the area. Unity stood out straight away. Honestly, we couldn’t have found a more perfect nursery for our daughter. So much so that we are so sad that our daughters time at Unity is coming to an end as she progresses to school, however, we are super excited, that our youngest will be joining Unity next year. Here are just some of the reasons why we would recommend Unity: - Safe and clean environment - The team are all overqualified, experienced, warm, caring, kind and truly passionate - Attention to detail and support they provide to all the children (and parents when needed) has been well beyond our expectations - The free flowing nature of the class and the vast number of stimulating activities available to the children. - Amazing communication, weekly updates and observations, and their newsletters. - The staff will always make time to have a 1-1 meeting if you ever wish to speak to them - The staff treat my daughter as if she was one of their own Above all my daughter has the most wonderful time and looks forward to going to nursery. Unity really is the most wonderful nursery, and we couldn’t recommend it more.

   A most challenging review to write, only because it’s truly difficult to find the necessary words to fully express how incredible a nursery Unity is. My family, with our 3 year old little boy, arrived in London at the beginning of this year. Having previously sent our son to a Montessori nursery back home in South Africa and having witnessed the amazing growth he experienced there, we were intent on finding a similar experience for him here in North London. Before arriving in London, we had found and enrolled him at another nearby Montessori, but realised rather quickly, after several days of him being there, that it was not the ‘true’ Montessori experience we had expected or wanted for him. We did a quick Google search and stumbled upon Unity Montessori, which was also luckily quite near to us. A quick, impromptu meeting with Alex and visit to her lovely campus and our son was immediately enrolled at Unity. Needless to say our expectations these past 6 months have been more than exceeded. Whilst I haven’t personally visited every nursery in North London, I struggle to believe there could be any holistically superior to Unity Montessori. If for no other reason than the amazing staff who work there and the phenomenal care they provide for each and every child. It’s not long before you realise how invested they are in your child. Even though we received regular updates from the nursery, which we were truly grateful for, regardless of this we always knew and trusted in the fact that the care he was receiving was second to none. The growth our child has experienced during his short 6 month stint at Unity has been nothing short of unbelievable. Every aspect of his being - emotionally, physically and mentally - has improved in bounds. If you’re in search of the very best nursery for your child and are lucky enough to live nearby to Unity, sending them there is a no-brainer. If you don’t live nearby, it’s worth the trek! Enrolling your child at this nursery is truly the very best start you can give your child in life. Our only regret is that our son could not stay for longer.    After having relocated to the area we were looking for a nursery that would help our sons development and we’re really REALLY happy to have found Unity Montessori. The staff is very professional, caring and attentive. They seem to notice any changes in our child's behaviour which is then always relayed back to us. We find the teachers really encourage 2 way dialogue with us and try to be as involved as they can . We were surprised how quickly our son settled in - having had some issues in the past- and is now excited to go in every morning. Its been an amazing journey to see the progress he's made since he started in March. Would strongly recommend this nursery!

   Three years ago I said that Unity Montessori is the best choice we have made for our daughter. I cannot be happier to confirm that! Our daughter started when Unity just opened doors to welcome our precious little ones. I was very anxious as we had a bad (but thankfully very short) experience with previous so called “Montessori nursery”. The moment we met Alex and Kate we knew that this is the place we would love to enroll our little two year old. The trust was immediate and they always kept that feeling. Our daughter grew up guided and watched by the amazing dedicated teachers to become a beautiful confident butterfly, ready to spread her wings. Along with the highly educated Montessori teachers, the space and location are lovely. Open big space, free flow in and out, amazing materials that teachers work hard to select and arrange, so children can chose and learn about the world around them. The outdoor schools, woodland walks and play, farm visits and even only the walks along in public spaces teaches and equip our children with so much needed skills in their life ahead. Unity has won a Sustainability award for their work and our child is very proud to have a certificate in her Unity possessions. Every single child at Unity is treated and valued as an individual. There was never a comparison and all are given the opportunity to move with their own pace, and challenged appropriately. I would strongly recommend full time so your child can benefit in full. Safety of our children is paramount! Like all around, Alex and team had the Covid challenges as well –they introduced secure measures and continue giving their 100% and beyond. I was and still am passionate about Montessori education and have read recommended books and so willing to follow. However, nothing can prepare you for the real life challenges your little one can give you. With the amazing teachers we overcome a lot of these. They are ready to work alongside parents for the best of our children. They equip you with tools in real life challenges and synchronise all at home and nursery. We felt so involved in every step and I can bravely say that we grew up together with our daughter to become a better parents. Our daughter is now at reception and apart from the mind blowing academic skills, she has an amazing social abilities that are thanks to you Unity teachers- Alex, Kate, Hannah, Alena (and Naia :-)) You have a special place in our hearts forever :-) Thank you!

   I absolutely love everything about this nursery! My son went here for nearly 2 years and had a wonderfully nurturing, creative and educational experience. He has had so many opportunities for learning and exploring the world around and not just his immediate surroundings. They grew plants, learnt about animals, made amazing crafts, got messy, painted, splashed in puddles, climbed trees and did what all children should do at their age. Learning so much from real experiences as well as exploring the wonderful range of Montessori tools they have available. The staff are lovely and genuinely loved and cared for our children. Along with the parents it has a lovely family feel about it. My children have been to 2 other nurseries in the area, and cried a lot in their early experiences. My youngest never cried a day when I took him to Unity. I was always disappointed that my eldest wasn't going to get a true Montessori experience there, but lockdown provided an opportunity for him to join his brother for 6 weeks over the summer. He loved every minute too and they were so accommodating and I am so grateful he had that opportunity. They benefit from a very roomy and calm indoor space (unlike many other nurseries where the children are crammed in to the max) and they also make the most of the playground as children use it in all weathers as much as they can. They have a free flow between inside and outside as the children get to choose the activities they would like to do each day. This was used to the maximum when they returned after lock down as they created a safe outdoor classroom for the children to be in whatever the weather The unity staff have fostered so much independence and free thought in my little boy, which I know will be with him forever. They also offer some additional classes and my son loved the Bilingual Beats Spanish classes. They regularly shared personal weekly updates via My Montessori as well as more generally in a newsletter so we always had a good idea of what the children had been upto. I can only say a big thank you to Alex, Kate, Hannah Alena and the rest of the team for showing such warmth and love to my children and being so accommodating throughout their time there. I wish you could have a full primary education service it would be so amazing! X
