    Once an outstanding and caring school, since it has become an academy (with little or no consultation with staff, parents or students), there is deep unhappiness throughout, with many staff on long-term sick leave, an exodus of experienced academic and support staff and a blind pursuit of target-driven teaching practices. All that was achieved by the founding head teacher and her devoted staff is being rapidly eroded and damaged by what can only be described a wilful and self-seeking ideologue in the mould of Michael Gove.
