Absolutely abysmal surgery to try and get an appointment. Been calling at 8.30 every day for last two weeks to get an applicant just keep getting cutting off after waiting in a queue for ages. Disgusted.

Never able to get hold of an appointment, they just hang up the call every morning, even when I am the first on the queue…so frustrating. I would have to leave this place because I only got to see my gp once after trying to book for over 6 months and he was rushing me to see other patients. I don’t feel welcome there, looking to leave.

Calderlea surgery reception is an absolute disgrace. I called this morning to be spoken to like a second class citizen also was threatened several times that the call would be terminated even though I was polite and not abusive and at the end hung up on by Abbey. She has a terrible manner and quite clearly is in the wrong proffesion either this or requires immediate training on her people skills. The sad part about this is that although the reception side is terrible the doctors are fantastic especially Dr Shakur and I would rate them 5 stars although reception would receive a zero star review if it was possible.

Today I phoned the practice and waited 1hour and 40 minutes before it was answered! Its always the same you either can't get through or your phoning continuesly. I haven't been able to see a doctor let alone speak to one. Its not the same place I remember when I first joined . Its gradually went down hill and not getting any better! I'm now looking to change from this health centre.

Excellent service, called today and got thru at 0847 and offered same day appointment at 0910! Once they on phones always helpful and get what is needed, would recommend!

Don't waste your time, more chance of a lottery win than anyone from this practice actually answering a phone. Total disgrace!!! 1 star is being polite

Sadly I have to agree with a lot of the reviews. The whole system for seeing a GP is appalling. I have however had to see Sandra the Practice nurse regularly. She has been very professional and welcoming throughout lockdown etc. If the Practice Nurse can do face to face appointments during Covid then why can't GPs??? I was in yesterday and it was like a ghost town upstairs. Come on its time things got back to normal. People are suffering because of these ridiculous protocols.

As I'm quite aware of the COVID epidemic and how it is effecting us all and that" NHS workers including receptionist are under a lot of pressure and strain" but for the life of me I know I'm not in the environment but for a. 30-60 second call that was a simple enough request the receptionist (not all) was abrupt, inconsiderate & certainly not pleasant for a doctor's surgery.

Waited for doctors to open on Monday after going through the weekend with excessive amounts of pain in my face getting worse each day. Phoned at 8:30 after not being able to sleep to ask for an appointment was told id get a call between 10-12. Phoned back at 1 to see why no one had called yet and was told they tried but it would not connect and to phone back again tomorrow at half 8 to re-book a new phone call for the next day. What a joke. I asked the receptionist for another alternative and was offered nothing, when challenged to see if this is the kind of service she would want for herself the simple reply I got was I can comment on that. I'm now on my way to the hospital during a pandemic which in its self is a total joke! Will 100% be changing doctors.
