Over 25 years at this practice so it's fair to say I've seen a lot of staff come and go. I've always tried to go with the flow and keep hold of the understanding that you don't know what's going on in someone else's life. I've been on both ends of the NHS doing nursing/care work and doing clerical before I had debilitating conditions which I spent years trying to get a proper diagnosis for and also years of building up a pain management plan only for it to be taken apart piece by piece by an egotistical doctor who believes more in holistic practice over scientific. I genuinely think they are in the wrong job. I am not implying any of this contemptuously! The way the practice is now run from times past is the worst I've had to endure as a patient! I do know that the previous reception staff all left to which the new staff have been remoulded to suit the "new era" of the practice. It begs the question as to who is behind the brains of this undesirable patient practice. That being said Dr Walker seems to be the only one who is straight down to business when needed, the practice should be very grateful they have her on board... what a strike!

Went in today to hand in a sample for someone, not my practice, but doing a favour for someone that is housebound. Oh my god never been so embarrassed by the receptionist, wouldn't accept the sample because it wasn't there bottle, told me to take it back to the person.. blah blah was never so embarrassed in my life.. in front of people in the waiting room, you need to take a good look at yourself while dealing with the public. Your attitude was terrible, as I said I was only doing a favour for someone. Get a grip when dealing with people. Hope the others had a word with you. (The other lady that dealt with it)

Terrible customer service, doctors are not listening to the patient’s problems and ignoring the real complaints when analyses show bad results. Do not care what kind of antibiotics to give, just whatever and painkillers. I was struggling for one month because of not listening and not paying attention to my complaints. Better go to 24/7 GP

Very poor customer service and arrogant staff approach. They don't respond to any complaints related to their staff. Also, I don't see their GPs to be well educated because for different issues I've ever had, I was given Ibuprofen or Paracetamol. Certainly, for a stomach pain, digestive problems or "tennis elbow", it's not the best treatment, and that was said by other professionals I had to contact.

Can’t praise Practice B enough! Reception staff very helpful and went out their way for me to get me registered in time for a prescription review. Dr Brown was also super helpful and took steps to ensure I get said prescription on time!

Very useless, I made appointment and turn 5 minutes before but I haven’t been told I have to check in before my appointment, they refused to see me even there wasn’t anyone and for Doctor wasn’t calling anyone name. They said is not in their interest to make sure I’m in for my appointment. Refused also give me centre policy. That’s how they treat patients, easier to get what you need from friends than from actual doctor ! Disgrace. On top of it they been told to make patient wait 2 weeks time. They are not busy

You can be on the phone for hours just trying to get through, what are the receptionists doing? Are they hoping you either get tired of waiting to get through or actually die of your illness before they answer? Something is seriously wrong in this health centre.
