   Great doctors however, the reception staff are poor, rude and not helpful. There has been many mess ups and it’s a joke to book an appointment at times. I overheard a staff member being seriously rude to a patient over the phone while at the practice - was not pleasant to hear to be honest. There a sign inside advising along the lines of that staff will not accept any violence , abuse etc but it’s okay for them to treat patients badly?! Looks like other reviewers agree with the reception staff being terrible!

   The doctors are amazing at Woodhead, they are always so helpful and as long as I phone first thing I'm generally able to speak to a doctor that day and if its ever regarding my children they don't hesitate to get us in if needed. Its a great practice and I'm very grateful for having them locally.

   Don't go here unless you enjoy medical gaslighting and never being allowed an appointment. Constantly treated like a hassle for needing medical care and actively ignored when asking for help. Reception staff are unprofessional, rude and truly will just lie to your face about having done things they didn't even attempt. Doctors aren't much better, if you even get a chance to speak to them. Stuck at this practice for 2.5 years and still never was able to actually get a physical check up and barely able to get telephone appointments. Surprised half the patients here even survive.

   Worst GP practice in Scotland. We have been to other practices, but never had experiences anywhere closer to the ones we had at WMP. Getting through to the reception is almost impossible. Never got an appointment on first try, and even if I get one it was a phone consultation most of the time. No clear answers given, no following up, and no tests offered to rule out major conditions. Luckily I have private insurance through workplace benefits. I wonder how others in Kirkie are surviving without proper care!

   I have been with this practice for nearly 4 years. My first encounter with Dr Fraser was terrible and I ended up reporting her. I loved being with Dr Mcgroarty and Dr Davda but I was told I had to take the Doctor who picked up the phone. I ended up with Dr Fraser who spoke to me on a monthly basis and told me if I needed her just to call Trying to get through to a Doctor is trying to get past the gestapo. I was ill over Xmas and new year and asked to speak to Dr fraser I was told she was very busy but did not offer me another Doctor. I am sick of the way I am treated by receptionist s and now I have moved to another surgery. This is a hassle that I didn't need but to make sure I am being treated well this had to happen.

   Worst practise in Scotland.answer the phones when they feel like it.never any appointments,reception staff attitude appalling.when you are in the surgery they leave the phones ringing while continuing they're conversations which have nothing to do with work.shocking ,it should be closed down

   Need to update the appointment system/phone line. Calling at 8:30 in the morning to get an appointment no queue just a free for all who can get through first is very hard and un realistic.

   Ive been attending this surgery since I returned to Scotland after living in the USA for 12 years. I came home because I was sick. My Dr was Dr Buchanan (sadly not working there now but she is a fantastic caring Dr). Since then there have been a few changes, including a change of name. However from the reception staff (who are welcoming, supportive, caring and always helpful) to the Nurse's (knowledgeable, caring and gentle) to the Drs, who don't make u feel like ur on the clock, helpful and of course are great at their jobs. I wouldnt want anyone else in my or my families time of need!!
