Excellent, empathic service on multiple occasions from reception and nursing staff as well as GPs. Useful medication ordering system. Outstanding work, particularly given the extraordinary pressures on the NHS, especially in the community at the moment. Thank you for all that you do.
Fantastic practice. Dr Williams is the best GP I have ever encountered. She is extremely caring and knowledgeable. The receptionists here are so different from the horror stories you hear of at other NHS practices. They’re always very helpful and friendly. They’re always really patient with you too. There’s one receptionist in particular who I wish I knew her name but she is an absolute gem. She always goes out her way to accommodate you. Just as an example, a while ago I was in the Isle of Skye and I stupidly forgot my medication. If I don’t take it, I can get bad side effects. The receptionist went above and beyond to get me through to Dr Williams that day who kindly arranged an emergency prescription to a pharmacy in Skye.
I cannot praise this surgery enough. The doctors and nurses are wonderful. They take a holistic approach that has personally been first-class. The reception staff are cheery and go out of their way to help patients in what can sometimes be very challenging circumstances. I've been a patient here since 1969. Highly recommended.
Firstly, a shout out to my doctor - Dr Williams, I sense her sincerity & true desire to help every time I speak to her. I have been a patient for 26yrs & consider it to be the finest Dr surgery in the area. As for criticism about not getting an appointment I can honestly say I have never had this problem. Today I called the surgery & then had a call back from a Dr 20mins later and this was not urgent. the receptionists also do a remarkable job considering how difficult patients can be!
If I could put 2.5 I would off. Through pandemic it has been great getting appointments and I have been signing the practice's praises. This has changed in the last few months and I'm well aware of pressure on NHS as a healthcare professional. My Gp Is wonderful. I've not been given consistent information from the highly trained reception staff. Which I find disappointing.
Thank you to the very understanding receptionist who listened to my sister with regards to my dad's health and the legalities which challenged us in order to get him to visit his GP in the first instance (very understanding /down to earth approach) We as a family feel the staff at the surgery have went above and beyond including the GP who accessed the appropriate tests and promptly organised the treatment required for him to feel much better physically and of course mentally.
