My son has been attending Bromley Vocal School singing lessons since February and has improved both his vocal range and his confidence as a singer.
Only had a couple of sessions so far but really enjoying it. Lessons are relaxed and fun but am also learning some great vocal techniques and can feel my range improving already!
I had my first singing lesson with Kirsten yesterday. She is PHENOMENAL. I’ve had singing teachers before, but Kirsten immediately understood where I’ve come from, what I wanted to achieve and what I had to do to get there. I spent an hour with her and my whole outlook towards how I use my voice has changed (for the better!!). I cannot wait to continue my lessons with her and see how my voice grows!
I had a fantastic first lesson with Kirsten. I was quite nervous but she put me at ease and I already feel like she’s unlocked something in my singing. I will be signing up for regular sessions!
Our daughter has really enjoyed her singing classes and is growing in both confidence and technique. She’s learning how to use her voice more intentionally and is becoming more aware of breath control, pitch, and expression. It’s been wonderful to see her start connecting emotionally with the songs she sings. We’re grateful for the supportive environment that allows her to explore her talent while continuing to build her skills.
I started my Level 1 singing lesson as an absolute beginner with Mariam in October 2022 .She is a wonderful coach .She is attentive n understand my reasons to take up singing .I have learned various warming up exercises to relax tensions .and techniques n drills in singing .She is constantly checking on any tension n discomfort during the lesson .Overall I am satisfied n happy with the progress I have made from ground zero and have learned a couple of songs too .
I have been taking lessons for a year and a half. Simona is a fantastic teacher and I was able to make quick progress in a few months. I have now performed to the public at open mics and sets organised by Bromley Vocal School. My (Skype) lessons consist of customised exercises followed by repertoire practice. Most helpful has been how my teacher modifies the exercises or my execution based on what she hears. Since my interest is primarily in singing high notes with power (e.g. Michael Jackson etc.) we have been focused on building my mixed voice. I take lessons every two weeks and practice at home a few times a week using the lesson recordings. Highly recommend if you want to learn how to sing.
Simona is a fabulous teacher. Not only has she taught me techniques to improve/strengthen my voice and smooth it out, but through her direction, she has encouraged me to sing songs I would never have dreamed I would manage and she has taught them with ease.
I joined Bromley vocal school for singing lessons and I think it's a great place to learn the techniques that help make a voice strong and prevent injury. My voice is improving and I like that the service is flexible. I'm able to do sessions remotely although there are also face to face lessons available at the school in the heart of Bromley a short walk from the town centre. If you live in the Bromley Borough and would like to learn how to sing, give them a go!
