A Truly Outstanding Experience at Specsavers Opticians Bellshill I work for a multinational heating manufacturer and, as part of our Health & Safety policy, the business covers the cost of prescription safety glasses up to £150. In the past, I’ve used another large national opticians, but the quality and service were extremely disappointing. Recently, our policy changed and we were given permission to source quotes from other opticians. After a colleague’s recommendation, I visited Specsavers in Bellshill—and I’m genuinely delighted that I did. From the moment I walked in, I was met with a friendly, polite and highly professional welcome. The service throughout was exceptional. My eye examination, carried out by Douglas, was incredibly thorough. He took the time to ensure every detail was checked and explained, and it’s clear he takes great pride in delivering first-class care. After the exam, I was assisted by Pinto (hopefully spelling that correctly), a lovely and extremely helpful member of staff who guided me through selecting the most suitable safety frames. Her advice and attention to detail were excellent, and thanks to the level of service I’d received, I also decided to purchase a new pair of personal glasses. There was a bit of a challenge finding the best possible lenses and frames within the allocated £150 budget for safety glasses, but Mason went above and beyond to help. He ensured I received the correct printed quote for my company and made the process completely stress-free. I chose to pay the additional cost personally, and with the fantastic 2-for-1 promotion, the value was unbeatable. I returned later in the week for some final fitting adjustments, again assisted by Mason, and everything was completed perfectly. I cannot praise the staff at the Bellshill branch highly enough. Douglas, Pinto and Mason deserve special recognition—they are a real credit to the business, and their exceptional service is something rarely experienced these days. I’ve already shared my experience with our Health & Safety team at their request, and it now looks very likely that we will switch our UK-wide staff glasses account to Specsavers based on this outstanding visit. Went for my first ever Eye test and was put at ease right away by the staff at reception and by the person carrying out my test. I was given detailed explanations to what was being tested and the results explained to me in detail. Following this, I was shown the types of glasses I would required, with the Prescription emailed to me so I could go back at a later date to organise. All in all, a very good experience.
The service provided was exceptional, and the staff demonstrated outstanding professionalism. I had a highly positive experience and would confidently recommend this establishment to all my family and friends. The value for money is excellent, and there is a wide variety of frames available.
Very quick response and lovely opthalmogist and staff. Fraser was very dtail oriented and provided quick solution. Waiting time was around 10 mins but i had arrived a bit early as well on a weekday, so no crowd.
Just had eyes tested a few months ago. Was advised to get new glasses again, old ones only 15 months, and are slightly smudged. Was told they could clean them, not tru,said they were tiny scratches,so much for their scratch resistant coating. £46 Won't be back. Very poor quality

Overall good experience, staff very friendly and welcoming. Very patient and helpful with frames. Place is still requiring to wear a face mask even though law has changed.
