Been sending my son(Ruben) into this nursery for the past year, he was being looked after by Nusara and Rosie, who went beyond looking after him, they were soo amazing to him. Then he changed class and we have had nothing but headaches with them, to a point where they couldn’t even be bovered to change his nappy and when questioned it is the blame game. When we spoke to the nursery manager we were promised a load of promises which they broke after week 1. We as parents have lost every bit of trust in these guys. Save your money and send your child to a different nursery. Will be contacting ofsted Monday morning

I would like to share a feedback and perspective on the situation that occurred with our son in this nursery. One day out of the blue, we have been informed that we were suspended from daycare due to “our son’s”behavior. However, we were not even given the opportunity to share our side of the story. First, we would like to point out that our son has been attending this daycare for five months, during which time he has had three different key workers. He had a wonderful relationship with the first two key workers, Farhana and Molly. He always behaved well with them, felt safe, and was calm. There were no incidents or complaints from them. However, after his key worker changed and Beth took over, his behavior in daycare changed dramatically. He started having incidents with other children and even hitting the staff—something that had never happened before. Additionally, Beth herself mentioned that he was struggling to go to the toilet, refusing to use the potty or allow his diaper to be changed. This had never been an issue before, and we believe it was due to the fact that he did not feel safe or comfortable with his new key worker. I strongly believe that his behavior was directly linked to the fact that Beth was not the right fit for him. After daycare, he would come home irritated and cranky, which indicated to us that he was not comfortable in this new environment. I also noticed that Beth was quite cold in her communication with me. I wanted to suggest trying to change his key worker to see if that would help, but before we had the chance, you had already made the decision that he should no longer attend the daycare. To be honest, in recent weeks, we ourselves were considering withdrawing him from the daycare because we were experiencing stress and could see that our child was feeling the same way. However, we had hoped for a resolution. As a mother, I believe that Beth was unable to establish a proper connection with our child, and there was a lack of attention and empathy towards him. On several occasions, I personally witnessed my child crying while being ignored—no one approached him to comfort him or give him the attention a three-year-old needs. I noticed that there was no real effort to engage with him in a way that would support his learning. The only reason we hesitated to remove him earlier was because of the opportunity for socialization with other children. Ultimately, we are deeply disappointed and feel that instead of trying to help our son, the daycare simply chose to remove him because it was easier to find another child to take his place.

Busy bees have been amazing throughout my personal situation, understanding and helping me and my son. Very friendly and welcoming wouldn’t change a thing and I couldn’t thank them enough for everything they have done

My daughter loved her experience at nursery. Her key worker Daisy was amazing. My daughter loved her. As a parent from an African background my concern is always diversity, teachers understanding our culture etc etc. and i think this busy bees helped lot. The Xmas book/gift we got was a book with a black kid as the main character on it. intentional or unintentional we was very please with it. There was evidence of books with black/brown kids on it in the nursery as well, there was black/brown dolls. Unfortunately during black history month there was no information or posters or signs but other religious or special day there was always posters/themes etc etc. Overall Daisy and the staff made its a very good experience, had one incidence that was managed well by the manager and resolved. So again thank you

My little one is thriving and you can see his development in the year that he has been attending the setting. The staff are so lovely and you can also see they genuinely love the kids and love what they do. If i have any concerns it's easy to voice these and practical steps are taken to address and resolve. I would highly recommend the Bexleyheath setting of Busy Bees. Thank you for all you do!

We have got a very bad experience. In regards of empathy they are poor.During holiday two months fees was paid but they didn’t kept the space for my daughter, now they are not giving back the money as well. In between two months they have taken another kids in my daughter place. They were taking fees from both party. This is so disgusting. I’m suffering to find another place for my her.

My son attended this nursery for 4 months before moving house so we had to change nursery unfortunately. Everyone at the nursery treated my son as one of their own and set the bar very high. We have been extremely happy with everything and great communication on their app too. When my son first started here I used to call morning and afternoon to check on him, the staff always made the time to tell me how he is getting on and put my mind at rest. My son also has a few food allergies which were handled really well, always put my mind at ease and gave him such varied food. Do not hesitate in sending you child to this nursery, fantastic from the start!
