My child started attending St Edith’s in September 2024, at 2 and a half years of age. I was delighted by the warm welcome we received on the first day. My child loves being outside, so St Edith’s was a natural fit, especially with school field also be used by the pre-schoolers. I chose this Preschool due to its caring atmosphere, central location together with the interaction with the local community and Kemsing primary school attached. My child has thoroughly enjoyed litter picking, the visits to the library and visiting elderly locals. I would highly recommend this Preschool.

We love this preschool so much, our twins have been there since they turned 2. It’s the staff who make it so special. At Christmas they put on a Christmas show and throw a wonderful party for the children and the effort on their part goes above and beyond. In the summer the work and planning and prep that goes into sports day is so well done, our girls loved practicing ‘on your marks, get set, go’ at home. This pre school really gets your children ready for school, they are always encouraging skills such as dressing themselves, independently coming in the school gates and using their peg themselves, putting on their slippers independently. The preschool has an educational focus as the child gets closer to school age and they spend time on skills such as counting and writing. The staff really know your child and they are so loved by the children, you know they are getting the best care.

My son started at St Edith’s this term and has settled in well. He is only 2 but has enjoyed playing with all the toys, especially the paw patrol tower. They have been very supportive with toilet training my little one and sent me pictures regularly during his first couple of weeks to reassure me that he had settled. The children can put slippers on when they go inside which is such a lovely touch and they are always playing outside happily when I collect him. My son describes one of the ladies as “the one that I love”

So happy with St.Edith Pre-School. My Daughter started in September and they have been incredible with her. Persevered with her morning wobbles/tears and now she walks in on her own with a smile on her face! The staff are incredible, they are friendly and clearly are good at their job. They set the kids tasks each week to add to the fun. They have an app where they update us as parents on what our child has been up to in the day. The actual setting is very cosy and has a friendly feel to it. I feel very reassured sending my Daughter to St.Ediths that she is having fun and learning lots of new things but most importantly I know she is safe with the team.

My eldest daughter who is now 6 used to go to this pre-school. The staff here are amazing they go up and beyond for the children here, they always update the online journal daily where I was able to access it from home and see what my daughter has been doing for the day. They helped with toilet training encouraged her communication and boosted her confidence. The start to her educational chapter has been a breeze knowing she had such a great start here at St Edith’s pre-school.

My little girl loves going to St Ediths preschool and we'll both be very sad when she has to leave in July for Big school. All the ladies are lovely! They have taught my daughter so much and prepared her for moving on really well. Highly recommended!!
