   Fantastic hotel. Every member of staff that I came in to contact with were polite, and could not do enough for me. Decor is nice and has a classy feel to it with the restaurant have a cosy feel to it, the log burner was lit and Christmas trees were up and decorated. Food was amazing (breakfast and dinner), with a reasonable selection of beers, lager and Whisky. Room was clean and comfortable with everything that you could need with the same level of decor throughout the rest of the hotel.

   We had our day on the 15/11/25. From the minute we booked this venue the staff where nothing but amazing. They went above and beyond for my self and Katie from the beginning. The day it’s self was nothing other than magical, we both felt every minute of it. Everything I asked for was already done they where on top off absolutely everything. The Lyndhurst hotel will always hold a special place in our hearts and the staff who now feel like our own family. Kerry Ann you are an absolute angel to plan a wedding with i couldn’t think of a better person to have had by our sides throughout our journey. there is no job in the world more suited to you. You are made for this and you made every minute off our journey one to remember for the rest of our lives. Deborah who you’ll often see sitting at reception just makes you smile from the minute you walk through the front door. We couldn’t have done it without you both. Emma was amazing on the day running here and there to make sure every last detail was perfect and lastly Eilidh who was our angle throughout the full day. From checking in on us and making sure everything was turned over as quickly as possible you truly made us feel amazing and we are forever grateful for all that you done for us on the day. 2 brides is never an easy challenge and you all handle our day with professionalism. If your thinking of booking this venue for your special day do not hesitate l. You will thank me later. We are so sad it’s over and are definitely experiencing the wedding blues but we won’t be far away we will be back to visit our Lyndhurst family soon for an overnight stay and some food.    We came here for our 2 friends wedding. as we live almost 6 hours away, they was so kind to book us a room. This hotel is absoloutley stunning and the history of it is vast. Given its age, the ornate features are very proudly on display! There has been no expense spared here! We was mesmerised by our room and how beautiful it was, as we also was with the rest of the hotel. We loved the way the bathroom is a lovely pod in the bedroom, so you don't lose any of the features or cornice work! The food was delicious, their service was so good and we loved to see how attentive they was to our friends. The gardens are stunning and its very obvious that whoever the gardeners are, they adore their jobs! The rooms (actually, the entire place) is so clean and there was never anything out of place. The only thing I struggled with, was that the lighting in the bedroom was very dim and although this just adds to the whole ambience, Its not so good for putting lashes or make up on...if this is the only negative, they deserve 5 stars in all areas!!

   All of the team at the Lynnhurst and our wedding planner Kerry-Ann were absolutely fantastic and made our day so special by going over and above in all aspects from planning, arranging and particular for the ceremony set up we asked for out of their normal arrangement to the service and support on the day. Kerry-Ann even helped cut personal made bouquets to help us in the morning and was a supporting shoulder for worries on the day. They were all very welcoming and friendly and made us feel so comfortable and at ease. We couldn’t have picked a better venue! The venue itself was also very well maintained and beautiful in the wedding area. If we had to do it again we’d choose the Lynnhurst again!

   An outstanding hotel. On arrival the grounds are lovely and there is plenty of parking. The staff was fantastic and the hotel was spotless. The only part i didn't like is the cashless bar. I booked the family room and it was a great size and has everything you need. The breakfast was held in the downstairs bar and was a lovely relaxed setting.

   Attended a funeral tea here recently. Good surroundings and great staff to did their best as the party turned up earlier than planned but the staff did a great show to supply finger food and teas and coffees. Food was warm and very nice. Was a good package with helpful staff on shift. Great facilities and pleasant bar area.

   Amazing! We decided to get away for the new year and this hotel came up last minute for us both and was up in Scotland which we both wanted to visit and explore, the whole hotel and restaurant looks amazing for the new year the decor and everything about the place made it feel special for the time we stayed. We loved our room. Very pleasing and felt luxurious. We will definitely be staying again in the future and I would recommend to anyone. Rebecca at reception went above and beyond to help us since we would be checking in late due to travel from down south she was great help! All the staff were polite and helpful & all the food we had was just perfect for our short stay! Excited for our return.

   Great venue for a wedding. The grounds at the back are stunning for photographs. If you are lucky enough to have Susan for your toastmaster...then enjoy! Absolutely amazing! Very patient and understanding and truly deserves a medal for taking away any stress from your wedding day!
