   Rencounter Krav Maga Edinburgh has been life-changing for my two children over the past 7 years. Under Susi’s expert instruction, they’ve gained outstanding self-defence skills and developed capabilities on the physical, mental, technical, and tactical level. As a psychologist and father, I deeply value how this training also builds confidence, resilience, self-respect, and healthy boundaries.    Rencounter Krav Maga…I first came across a couple of the instructors, Linn and Sarah whilst attending a training camp in Oslo - Linn also formed part of the instructor team. Both not only highly skilled but also very warm and welcoming, extending invitation to future events they had lined up open to students in and outside their club. Attended the Rencounter Pub Brawl seminar and the Control and Restraint seminar with guest instruction from Hans Marius Martinsen, from Krav Maga Tromsø - very well organised and superb training on both occasions. Fast forward 6 months and due to a change in circumstances find myself in need of a new club and at the very same Oslo camp a year later, I asked Sarah for help to get me back on track progress wise. RKM is not local to me at all but 100% worth the travel to get the expert tuition and corrections I need. A very inclusive club offering a variety of classes to cater to all ability levels, exciting seminars on offer throughout the year not to forget the regular social events. I would highly recommend RKM for those wanting to learn self defence or even if just wanting to improve fitness - at the very least you will learn some basic life saving skills https://rencounter.co.uk/

The instructors are extremely good at what they do, mega-supportive, and also very friendly.    I moved to Rencounter Krav Maga last summer as my previous club was closing and I needed to find somewhere else to train. Given that I was very happy with my previous club, I was not overly looking forward to having to move. My concerns were totally unfounded. Linn and her team of instructors are fantastic and were very welcoming. The whole manner in which the club operates is professional and organised. The standard of tuition is second to none. Lesson planning is designed to incrementally take complete beginners on their own Krav journey and recognises that we all have different needs and expectations. For more experienced students there is tailored training to meet their requirements too. If you have been thinking about giving Krav a try then take a brave pill and arrange to come along. Making the decision to come is the hardest part and you will be warmly welcomed by the staff and fellow students of diverse age, ability levels and background.

   I Love KM, trained for years!! DONT JOIN THIS CLUB IF YOUR SEROUS ABOUT SELF DEFENCE!! Its just for fun…. .I was told by leader, Linn, “Rencounters coaches aren’t qualified to deal with people who have certain issues” So now i travel 2 hours instead of 5 minutes to learn the art. Very disappointed!!

   I enrolled as a regular student. Excellent instructors and very friendly and helpful class. Everyone is trying learn. I am glad that I found this class. Serious training with proper explanation on techniques so that we train hard and fight easy. Linn and other instructors like Peter, Judy all are very encouraging to the students to try, think and execute something different or what works better on a situation. A must try for those who wants to know about Krav maga and practice or contact the team to try for their foundation classes. "Self defense is your own responsibility".
