   Check the items you bought for security tags, it will save you a lot of trouble. My husband bought me some items for my birthday, including a fleece that was given to us with a security tag still on. We had to travel back to the store, which is out of the way for us, pay for parking, and go back to the store to get it removed. All on my birthday. I had better things to do and it came with a cost for us, yet we received no compensation. I love the clothes, but unfortunately, I don't recommend the store.

As photographers (and general outdoorsy types), we’ve always admired the brand for their commitment to the planet — We recently got to document their 5th birthday celebration, and the vibe was unreal — zines, screen printing, music, food, and proper meaningful chats.    Really lucky to have this shop in Bristol. The staff are always really helpful and friendly. I get the feeling they really enjoy working there. The shop has a good selection of gear and the sale section on the first floor always has a good variety of stock. I’ve picked up quite a few bargains there.

   Extraordinary service from the team at Patagonia Bristol. George went above and beyond to help me with an issue with an old Patagonia jacket of mine, for which I had no receipt and could not even remember the date or location of purchase. They took in my old jacket and replaced it for next to nothing, couriering the new one to my home address. I’m not based anywhere near Bristol and I did not even visit the store in person - this all happened over the phone! Fantastic representatives of the Patagonia brand.

   Good shop, they also offer a FREE repair service for any Patagonia clothing which I have taken advantage of so it is real! My only reason not to give it 5 stars is that they said it would take 4 weeks and it took around 10.

   Really great service. Dropped in to get a mid layer but they didn't have my size but did find one in another shop and gave me a code for free shipping. We then went upstairs and bought a couple of nano puffs. The assistant (welsh girl) was really helpful and made sure we got exactly what were after. She also gave us a great tip of a place for lunch. Well worth a visit if you are after Patagonia stuff, the deals on the outlet pieces were fantastic and the service is 100%
