    Library extraordinaire

  2. Michael O Sullivan ★★★☆☆

It's a great place to go for some peace and quiet. If you bring a sandwich with you to sit in the cafe tables. Someone will move you especially if your on your own.

  3. Mark Fairley ★★★★★

Stunning place to grab a coffee and do some reading. Upper reading rooms very peaceful.

  1. Irene Catchpole ★★★★★

One of the best places we have been

  2. Steve Bamlett ★★★★★

Fascinating building hosting Aye Write Festival. Intriguing interior topography.

This was my first visit to the Mitchell Theatre and I was impressed by its "cosy" atmosphere but thought the seats could be a little more padded. I was so impressed by the photographic portraits of female academics on display in the main foyer. What an advert for feminism and Scotland. I think they should next displayed at Glasgow Airport in the corridor leading to the luggage pick up area.

Quite comfortable. To get there you have to enter through the back of the Mitchell Library.

  2. Tracey McCready ★★★☆☆

    Nice wee theatre
