Alistair was amazing! I would have thrown the towel in just to not go through the stress of court but he advised me well and helped me see it through and got an amazing result!! Absolute legend!
I contacted BCKM solicitors yesterday I suffer from autism and find it difficult to communicate and was heartbroken and shocked by how rude unhelpful and unprofessional the receptionist spoke to me. I then requested to speak to the Manager who said he was the highest solicitor the firm had. I discussed my concerns with him hoping that he would be more supportive and he was extremely rude unhelpful and unprofessional aswell. I explained that I had autism and that I was really upset by the way that I had been treated and he said that he would cancel my appointment and I can go elsewhere if im not happy. I have now received help from a different solicitors company however I wanted to make people aware of the negligence that I suffered. Family court is an extremely stressful and emotionally challenging experience and you need a solicitors company to be compassionate and emphatic so I would definitely not come here if your looking for a professional helpful and compassionate solicitor.

Posting anonymously. What a useless law firm. Mild mannered, gentle, kind. Not the qualities you want in a solicitor which I think are aggressive, follow every possibility, prepare and strategise. Instead they fobbed me off on a trainee for ages who was doubly useless and out of her depth, but then when one of the senior partners took over he wasn't much better. I don't know the law but I'm reasonably intelligent and read up as much as I could on my situation, suggesting certain avenues to the partner - he treated my ideas with a patronising contempt and THEN on court day when his way wasn't working tried my ideas. But he'd lost too much ground by then and I was found guilty. Never met such a passive, unassuming legal firm. If you want "nice" and "friendly" BCKM are for you; if you want to WIN, go somewhere else.
Yesterday, I was absolutely thrilled with Will, he was assertive, on point and new exactly what he was debating, however CEC SW department is so corrupt, dishonest and manipulate the truth the decision today didn’t go 100% in my favour, I cannot fault him though he definitely had his work cut out, and it wasn’t all bad a safe guarder was appointed he managed to have my voice heard, which has been lacking in the flawed system. 10/10 for Will.
Liam helped me in 2017 but I was on so much medication at the time and did not thank him enough for all his legal help.

Am the cat with nine lives with this firm. Nothing but complete professionalism and compassion for clients. Stephen Knowles especially is the best lawyer around. Got me out of alot of sticky situations. Very grateful to this amazing team.
These people charged me £400 to open an account with them and never informed me of the costs of any services they'd provide. One short one to one session and letter to my ex (stating that I have equal parental rights and that if she never resumed access I'd pursue legal action) later I get a letter of my own through saying that I owe them £74 as the cost of the letter and meeting was £474. In my opinion, these people make their living exploiting single fathers in vulnerable positions by providing a very basic service at a ridiculously overcharged price. If you want legal advice, do yourself a favour and go to citizens advice or just Google what to put in a letter yourself.
