AVOID the Health and Social Care T-Level course. You will be wasting your time. Staff haven't got a clue, they are disorganised chaotic and consistently gaslight the pupils over their own administrative and staff failings. The college is so disgraceful in how they operate they even went as far as providing incorrect exam timetables to the pupils. To say am disgusted with this college and their staff is an understatement to say the least ( think jock-strap in a convent useless, chocolate teapot useless, couldn't organise a booze-up in a brewery useless). Need I say any more! They are a disgrace and should be ashamed of themselves. EDUCATION DEPARTMENT TAKE NOTE. YOUR FUNDING IS GOING TO WASTE!

Deeply Disappointed – A College That Fails Its Students My daughter enrolled at Uxbridge College for A Levels, and our experience was nothing short of distressing and disappointing. From the very start, the teaching staff seemed inexperienced, disorganised, and lacked basic lesson planning and guidance. Despite being told during the parent meeting that she was doing well, my daughter ended up failing one of her AS subjects—a failure that came as a complete shock to us, but not surprising in hindsight given the poor quality of teaching. The college never taught students exam techniques, how to structure answers, or how to approach questions effectively. Instead of support, they failed her in mock exams without giving her any meaningful feedback or guidance for improvement. When I reached out to the college repeatedly via emails and phone calls, there was no response—until much later, when we were abruptly informed that she would not be allowed to continue to A2 and was being pushed towards a BTEC course instead. I wrote detailed and respectful letters explaining her mental health challenges, with a promise to submit full medical documentation. But all of this was completely disregarded. A staff member, Ms. Minal Thaker, finally contacted us and made it clear she didn’t believe my daughter was capable of succeeding at A Levels. She dismissed our concerns and insisted that private A Levels were a poor alternative, claiming “kids who go for private A Levels never make it.” Well, Ms. Thaker, I am pleased to say that you were absolutely wrong. We supported our daughter through private education after your institution failed her, and today she has received excellent A Level results and has just moved into her university accommodation to study the course she always wanted. This clearly shows the problem was never with my daughter—but with your college, your teachers, and your dismissive attitude towards students who need support. Uxbridge College talks a lot during admissions, but when it comes to real support, they fall short in every possible way. Their actions are more about funding and numbers than genuinely shaping students’ futures. I strongly advise other parents and students to stay away from Uxbridge College. There are far better alternatives where students are actually valued, supported, and helped to succeed—not written off because of the institution’s own inadequacies.

had a very frustrating experience at Uxbridge College. I had an appointment for a language course enrolment interview on 29th August at 10:30 AM, but I had to cancel it due to personal reasons. I sent an email requesting another appointment and received a reply confirming that there was no problem and I could attend anytime. When I arrived for the new appointment, I waited for my turn, and at the door, I encountered two staff members who were very unprofessional. They told me that I could not enter and that I must do the interview at the scheduled appointment. When I explained that I had been told I could come at any time, they said the earliest available enrolment interview for me was in January, and I felt they were mocking me because my English is not strong. I sent an email to inquire about this situation, but unfortunately, I did not receive any reply. This experience was very disappointing, and I hope the college improves the way students are treated and provides better support, especially for those whose English is not strong.”

I am appalled, went to today’s enrolment day and the staff are nothing but rude! They do not care for students that is clear. They only want the money and to get the work day over and done with, it was rushed, unplanned, messy. The lady doing the a-level room was nothing but rude, back chatting and down right unprofessional. I feel like this day taught me everything I need to know about Uxbridge college, please train your staff to be better and to have a clearer and more professional mindset in the future. Your staff are here to help, Teach and prove to students that they are there for them, not make students fearful and not wanting to go to your college. Other reviews state that there children have had worse experiences with teachers from this school and to be completely honest, I am not shocked.

I am proud to share that I have successfully completed my City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles at Uxbridge College, within the Department of Engineering. This has been an incredibly rewarding journey that has not only expanded my technical knowledge but also strengthened my practical skills in the field of automotive engineering. A huge part of my success is thanks to the outstanding guidance and support provided by my tutors and the workshop team. I would especially like to express my deep gratitude to *Narinderpal Matharu (Steve)*, whose dedication to teaching and deep understanding of the subject matter made complex concepts easier to grasp. His clear instruction and constant encouragement were invaluable throughout the course. Equally, I must commend *Chris Baker*, whose hands-on expertise and passion for the trade were truly inspiring. Chris has an incredible ability to break down advanced techniques and pass them on to students with clarity and patience. His commitment to developing our real-world skills has equipped us with the confidence needed to succeed in the industry. I would also like to thank *Dain* , the assistant in the Uxbridge College workshop, for his consistent support during practical sessions. Dain's approachability and readiness to help created a welcoming and productive environment where learning was both enjoyable and effective. Uxbridge College has provided a strong foundation for my career in vehicle maintenance and repair, and I wholeheartedly recommend this course to anyone serious about entering the automotive trade. The staff’s commitment to student success is evident in every aspect of the program.

As staff, myself and my colleagues have witnessed violence and experienced threats of violence that were sadly not adequately addressed. Unfortunately staff are fearful of some students which means that significantly concerning & reported behaviour continues without action. This impacts learning. Headcount on courses is priority along with funding received. Staff do not tackle bad behaviour as it’s time consuming & repercussions. . There are some great staff members but also lots of temp employees that lack curriculum knowledge.

0 organisation, i enrolled at the college in september, only started in november and it took them weeks to even get our IDs, still haven’t gotten a school email and the communication is non existant, we have no timetable, no idea of what we are doing and even my employer cannot get in touch with the college.

Good college. Afshin najafipour is a genuinely helpful guy and goes above and beyond for his students. All of my interactions with him have been a real pleasure.

Really poor college. HCUC got a lot of internal management issues. Their lack of organisation impact on the learning of their students. They are extremely good to put on an act when Ofsted are reviewing the college. The list of issues we had with them during the course of our apprenticeship partenariat are unbelievable and so silly. This raised the concern of their aptitude to run a college. They are not up to minimum requirements to teach or run a business. Unfortunately for the students and employers this disgraceful situation wasn’t an isolated case. FYI few issues during these 3 years of partenariat: . No communication between college to employer, until they need you to fill up their paperwork. UCHC can’t be bothered to reply to any of our emails. . Our apprentice completed units unrelated to his course, and missed the units required. . No workshop or technical training provided by the college . Students had to chasse the college during classes time to find solutions. So once more lost of education time. . Etc… Conclusion: I do not recommended that college to any students or employers.
