   Thanks for helping us sell our flat! We have an excellent level of service, from the very beginning when Nikki visited our flat, Heather, who helped to market it and Sally, who completed conveyancing. They were all easily contactable, responded to our questions and supported us to make decisions when initially we struggled to sell our flat. The only issue I had was with the home report, but this is a separate company. The surveyor told me everything was fine, but the home report then contained a number of issues which were not discussed, and the report was clearly and copy and copy-and-paste job, as it made reference to 'our second-floor flat', we live on the ground floor, and the second-floor flat was marketed by a different company a few months previously. Lyndseys however, were great, therefore I have given them a 5star rating.

   Having now had two horrendously bad experiences in a row with buying and selling a home, I realised I really am long overdue for the five star review Lindsays deserve for their handling of my first home purchase. They were absolute stars from the start: keeping me notified every step of the way without any need for prompting; raising and resolving potential issues swiftly and with minimal fuss or fluff; and just generally handling the whole process with professionalism and efficiency. Years later, when it came time to sell that property, they were every bit as prompt and courteous in providing the missing details I needed to complete my sale. At the time, I presumed all property solicitors would display a similar degree of competence. Ah, hindsight! I warmly recommend them, and they'd certainly be top of my list if I ever move back to the area.

   Tracy and Reena did a wonderful job of selling my flat in Edinburgh. Sold in just over a week! They were exceptionally efficient with all aspects of marketing and sales, and gave me regular updates throughout the process. Excellent advice about pricing and offers and I was particularly delighted with the video made for the advert as it really showed my property off really well and brought in lots of viewings. Thanks to all the team at Lindsays. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

   Ross Hadden has been my solicitor since 2006. He retired a few years ago, but I STILL haven't been officially contacted in anyway, not even an email or letter, what a disgrace. I even emailed a complaint a few weeks ago, no reply. Since Hadden Rankin joined together with Lindsays, the service has got worse. I'll be looking for a new solicitor, as this firm is the worst in Edinburgh.

We spoke with Dawn Anderson and she was brilliant, we got a quick response from start to finish and it only took 7 days to resolve with the best result we could have wished for just before christmas.    I called them to hire a solicitor, they took my details and said they would call me back. I was waiting for their call but it never happened and by the time I managed to get another solicitor (different company) the property I wanted to put an offer on was under offer. I don't recomend this company

   I feel shocked and dissapointed that Lindsays would not investigate when the ligitimasy of the sale of 20 Stanley Road was questioned. I feel devastated at the loss of a beautiful and established housing co-op. Established in 1970 and becoming a womens co-op in 1980 this is a tragic loss for the co-operative movement especially when people need community and decent living spaces more than ever. A rushed sale and an unwilingness to wait for investigation by the FCA is dissapointing and unsettling to say the least. Lindsays has demonstrated only an interested in profit and no interest in the community.
