In front of Ofsted, Harrow College tries very hard to look perfect β but inspectors donβt see what really happens behind the scenes. The college presents itself as organized, supportive, and professional, but the reality for students is very different once the inspections are over. Many teachers and staff only show their best behavior when Ofsted visits. Afterward, things quickly return to normal β poor communication, disorganization, and a lack of genuine care for students. Instead of focusing on real education and student wellbeing, the college often focuses on appearances and ticking boxes. Across different departments, there are serious issues with the quality of teaching and support. Some teachers are impatient, unprepared, or even disrespectful. Students who need extra help are often ignored or made to feel uncomfortable. Feedback and guidance are limited, and there is little effort to understand individual student needs. The college also struggles with communication and management. Information about classes, schedules, and deadlines is often unclear. Many students feel they are not listened to when they raise concerns or complaints. There is a feeling that management only cares about inspections and statistics, not about studentsβ real experiences. Harrow College may look good on paper, but behind the walls, there are problems that need serious attention. The leadership should stop focusing on image and start focusing on respect, fairness, and quality education for all students.

I especially want to thank Mrs. Elena Rankin, my GCSE English teacher. She was absolutely brilliant β always patient, dedicated, and full of encouragement. She put so much effort into her lessons and had a clear plan that really helped us progress. Because of her teaching and support, I gained so much more confidence in my English skills and felt prepared for the next step in my studies. I truly appreciate everything she has done for me. Thank you so much, Mrs. Rankin, for making such a positive difference in my learning journey.

Outstanding Education at Harrow College with Exceptional Tutors My experience at Harrow College has been nothing short of excellent. The college offers a high standard of education in a welcoming and supportive environment that truly fosters student success. What makes Harrow College stand out is the quality of its professional and dedicated tutors. I had the privilege of being taught by Sohaila, Christina, and Yevon, who were all incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely committed to helping students achieve their best. Each of them brought a unique and engaging teaching style that made learning both effective and enjoyable. Beyond academics, the friendly and inclusive atmosphere at Harrow College made a real difference. From day one, I felt supported and encouraged, not only by the staff but also by fellow students. Itβs a place where you feel part of a community, and that sense of belonging really enhances the learning experience. I highly recommend Harrow College to anyone looking for a strong educational foundation in a positive and professional setting. Itβs a place where students are truly empowered to reach their potential. Thanks

My son has been part of the college for just under 2 years, him and I have been threatened by staff if his last exam is not completed then he will fail. However the exam was scheduled 2 times before and both were never completed. Now they refuse to give a date and time for the exam to take place, just call in the morning and ask for him to be in college at 10am. Shocking experience and rude staff, no help, they just say we are passing on a message. Thankfully, my son has secured an apprenticeship for himself and is off to another college

My opinion, staff are very rude and unresponsive to requests, one of the main things they not even told me or email me ,that I have to pay a fee on the enrolment day ! I do not recommend to anyone this college ,I rather choose a fast track course where you get the respect and achievement more quickly!!

Staff not organised and disrespects people. They don't answer calls and emails. They made me waste a lot of time waiting instead of getting my exams done.

The receptionist with white long hair and glasses was extremely rude and racist. Its not right the way she speaks to people and disrespects them. In addition, she was not helpful at all, i don't know how she still has her job! After that interaction i decided not to attend to this collage as the system was confusing, staff where rude and the atmosphere was just toxic. I would give zero stars if I could

AVOID THIS COLLEGE AT ALL COST! DISCLAIMER: I APOLOGISE IF NOTHING MAKES SENSE, I AM WRITING THIS OUT OF FRUSTRATION! This college is literally the worst place of education I have EVER been to. The college may have some decent teachers particularly in the science department (since I do this course) but most teachers and staff are just so rude it's beyond belief! The enrolment system is so messed up. The college is so badly organised. For anyone who is considering to do Maths and English GCSE in this college, please don't as most of the teachers aren't that good and probably not fully trained or even qualified and will also give you bad grades and also discourage you and belittle you from doing any good but that depends on which teacher you have. This college made me cherish my time at secondary school, which I've unfortunately taken for granted while I was there. This college is so abhorrent that it makes my school look like a good school! (which it is). I ABSOLUTELY REGRET NOT STUDYING HARD IN SCHOOL and if I did I probably would have stayed at my school for sixth form and also would've avoided COMING TO THIS COLLEGE! The head of learning support here in Harrow College is so cruel that it's unbelievable! The staff in this college don't seem to care about their image or even their students, they mainly seem to care about the money they, the staff, are earning or getting. The staff really seem to love playing the blame game, meaning if they lose their student's work or if something goes wrong they'll just simply blame the students (even if it's not the fault of the student) however this does not apply to all of the staff. This college also does not seem to care about the complaints the students make and somehow teachers seem to take complaints from students so personally to the point the students have to stop the complaint from taking any further action. One of the main problems with this college is that they, the staff lie way too much, for example this year teachers were asked to grade student's GCSEs with all the evidence (attendence, punctuality, classwork, homework and mocks) they have and even the teachers themselves have said that they will do that but guess what? They only graded students from the exams they, the students sat few weeks before the summer holidays in 2021! Furthermore, some teachers and even some other staff members will also demotivate students from doing any good and will leave them feeling depressed and hopeless with nothing to look forward to! I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH INCOMPETENCE THAT IS PRESENT IN THIS COLLEGE!

Spent three years in this college and hereβs my two cents. Harrow College has got some outstanding tutors, but absolutely mediocre course (Speaking about their IT course in particular) and itβs lacking good management too. Would I recommend? Yes maybe, but do some research about the course youβre interested in before you hop on.
