The most carefully shipped art I’ve ever received from overseas. They were great about answering all my questions and helping me navigate getting my art back to the states. I would definitely use them again and will recommend them to everyone I know.

Pack and Send Edinburgh East did an amazing job organising sending a framed painting from Australia to UK for me. Even packaging it up securely before sending. All required documents easy explained and completed and great communication throughout the entire process. Would highly recommend their services.

I would strongly caution anyone considering Pack & Send Edinburgh East. I trusted them with valuable furniture and antiques, paid nearly Β£1,200 for shipping, and the results were catastrophic. Every single item arrived damaged. Even a 200-pound piece of furniture was not secured to the base of the crate, so everything shifted in transit, collided, and was destroyed. This wasn’t a matter of bad luck β€” it was negligence in packing. To make matters worse, their staff advised me to lower the declared value of the shipment, which left me underinsured. Now they’re hiding behind fine print to avoid taking responsibility, despite clear evidence of their own failures. After weeks of back-and-forth, they’ve offered only token compensation of fifty bucks. Meanwhile, I’m left with thousands in losses and irreplaceable damage. If you value your possessions, think very carefully before trusting this branch with your shipment.

We are extremely impressed with Pack & Send Edinburgh East! We purchased a piece of artwork while on holiday and needed it shipped back to the United States. We received it in less than a week and it was probably the best packaging job I have ever seen. There were at least five layers of carefully thought-out and perfectly trimmed packaging and padding, and the outmost layer of large-circle bubble wrap was applied so precisely that it took me several minutes to find the seam. The artwork was fully enveloped in protection and it arrived in perfect condition! I highly recommend their services for any international packaging needs!

Recently, I purchased a Pattern 1868 British cavalry lance in Scotland and had it crated and sent to me by the Edinburgh East location. The lance is 9' long. Gary handled the transaction seamlessly and I received the package at my home in western Canada within 2 weeks. Highly recommended!

We sent four boxes of books to Oxfordshire. The staff were friendly and efficient - the boxes were collected promptly and delivered on the day specified. I would definitely use this service again.

Terrible service provided. Turned up a day late and when they did arrive for a β€˜two man job’ there was only one person. The only way they were able to get the parcel onto the van which was over 40kg was for my wife to help even though we had paid for a two man service.

I was initially concerned about sending a large framed painting to the USA, but needn't have worried. Pack and Send provided an excellent service all round and I was delighted to hear the picture arrived the day it was due, with no customs issues and that it had been very well packaged. I'd give 5 stars but do think the price a bit excessive and I would have liked a more detailed 'receipt of goods' for peace my own peace of mind after dropping it off. But otherwise I was happy with the communications and would use them again.

I was recommended Pack and send by Taylors auction rooms to post a number of lots i purchased there. The items were boxes of fragile antique glass photographic slides and I spoke to Gary there who reassured me they would be packed well and infill would be put in the boxes to stop the glass slides moving around. The price was expensive ( double what we normally pay ) but they were in the highlands and the service sounded like the standard we normally get / better. We received the slides 1. the boxes were not wrapped as discussed. 2. there was no side protection against impacts. 3. No infill in the boxes so slides were free to move 4. In one box only, extremely heavy 31kg. Basically they had put bubble wrap on the bottom of the box then put the boxes of slides in and the bubble on top. This is the worse packing I’ve ever experienced. I contacted Gary immediately on receipt ( 01/02/2022 ) who asked for photos, i send this along with my issues. As of the 4th i had no response then an email from a Hassan saying β€œ We hope that you have been pleased with the service you have received from us in respect of your recent shipment. β€œ We have now gone through the slides and have about 50 that are damaged. Whilst i cannot 100% say this was due to their packing it is highly likely it contributed to the damage of a number of them. Avoid to avoid disappointment ... this is not the standard that pack and send should and do normally provide.
