   I was relocating to Canada in 2023 I had long known about Purdies as many many years ago when my parents were moving they had contacted Purdies they were excellent then and are excellent now. From start to finish the service was superb I had lots of questions and they were answered promptly the employee I was dealing with was Gemma her knowledge friendliness were second to none nothing was too much trouble from start to finish. Unfortunately we were in a position that we had to come back to Scotland in 2025. How did I do that from Canada I didn’t know any companies so my first port of call or email was Gemma at Purdies. Sure enough she was on the ball got me sorted straightaway with a local shipping agent and guided me through the process all over again. The return process was made so easy through the knowledge and expertise. Both crews that dealt with my shipment leaving and coming back were friendly helpful and got straight on the job again the can do attitude is perfect just what you need as moving is such a stressful situation so all the reassurance and communication gave me great confidence that I had chosen the correct company for my relocation I honestly can’t praise Purdies enough and if I am ever in the position where I will be moving again they would be my go to company absolutely 100 percent

   Excellent service from all at Purdie's, right from initial consultation and the quote for removals, with everything fully explained though to arranging, rearranging and re-rearranging the dates then onto the move itself. Our removal team (Luke and Simon) were 1st class, turned up on time, did what needed to be done quickly and cleanly both loading and unloading. The whole process including the journey of 400+ miles resulted in absolutely no damage to anything. Quick follow up some 48 hours after the move from me to the team because I couldn't find something was answered promptly, with the exact location in the new house (I had mislaid it, it was exactly where they said it would be). Very very happy with the service, would recommend without hesitation.

We dealt with honest and trusted people, from arranging the estimate pd work, to the exceptional removal work first in Scotland to pack everything to the efficient delivery of more than 80 boxes AND one vertical piano without any minimum sign of damage.

   I can't recommend Purdie Worldwide mover enough. From the initial call, subsequent communications to the actual removal. They were fantastic. We had two men who turned up on the day of our move. They packed up their vans promptly, gave me their number and said to meet them at the new property at the pre arranged time. The move into the new place was fantastic. Each item brought in, was placed in their respective room. Every item treated with care. A brilliant job done.

   The worst experience I’ve ever had with a company. Avoid at all costs if you actually value your possessions. A large portion of our expensive furniture is damaged through carelessness & is less than a year old. When trying to claim it through the insurance company set by Purdies they try to scam you by offering next to nothing for your items, but will be quick to offer a higher amount with a ‘salvage’ option on the table. Why are we bargaining over MY furniture that YOU damaged? Beyond furious - read the 1 star reviews on here they are completely accurate. If I could rate 0 stars I would.

   Broke all my tvs took them out in the pouring rain causing water damage as not wrapped up not even bubble wrapped while in storage for 6 months, lost all fittments for my beds, then the guy put my suite back togther forced it down to far and blew the recliner wire and burst the metal bracket, they took beds down and lost fittments not one bed was wrapped in bubble wrap as i asked as its velvet sude beds and they are marked with being pushed along the van floor, broke my fridge freezer as it was handled to many times and they broke the element of the back of it. Its also dented where they moved it back into the van across the wooden floor of van to hard, i have cctv of them walking in pouring rain and tvs getting wet not one would work after they took them in the rain and nether wherevthe bubble wrapped somall the van elements and particuals where inside the scart ports and covered in soot he tv repair man wrote a receipt for water damage, been called a liar. The bed fittments are for handmade beds that cant just be put back togther and the wooden pannel in middle was halfed in too while it sat in the rain aswell. Tvs i have all videos of blue screens and not turning on, my suite is hanging to one side and metal broke all pictures been sent but there not good enouh, no tvs since xmas kids not played there computrs, beds given from an authority to sleep on and a suite from an authority to sit on, kids left there home due to flooding and then came back to more damage after no care was given to our stuff in stourage where it was moved 2 x and left in the rain, my goods are useless and they will not admit liability, after all cctv and photo eveidence and the guy admots he put the suite back togther i cant dont even no how it came apart as they done it. An independent reviewer to come when noone can come to the house due to my ill health. But theyve said if i dont agree i will not be eligable because i dont let come see the damage, The suite could have killed my son, and the tvs are in the repair shop still and we have to keep broken beds in a house until theybreview them wherevwould we sleep the roof, Sad times i have worked hard in my home and they are making me feel like am lying its all there on cctv and more. And a new fridge freezer from a local authority. I put my stuff in storage and called the exact same day they delivered it and told them about the damage it took them weeks to tell me about an independent review and i had to lie on broken beds which is impossible and a suite that could kill us after bad workmanship, how am i even wrong in any of this ey of this. No stars would have been given Not one tv wrapped in anything and when they bring stuff out its not even wrapped it was pouring down left wood aswell behind bin.
