   James met all our wildest dreams with this fabulous tour!!! He was so friendly and accommodating we never felt rushed. We always felt like he was just taking his favorite family and friends around to show them the best of the best! He was flexible working with us about the pick up time and also with the the owners of the property where the standing stones are located so that we weren't intrusive. The Witch trial museum was incredible. The amount of research that's been done and artifacts that have been gathered, so that modern day people can understand what a living nightmare it was to be accused, was staggering. The gentleman who hosts the tour through the museum is so knowledgeable that I think he could have talked for another two hours! It was a very sobering experience when he showed us some of the punishments and 'tests' they administered to the accused. The highlight for our group was getting to experience Dunino Den. I wasn't sure I would be able to safely descend the ancient stone steps into the Den, but I was determined- even if I had to sit down and crawl! Have no fear- James to the rescue!!! He wasn't about to have this old lady on HIS tour falling OR sitting to get down there. He was such a gentleman, He took my hand and assured me that he was able to keep me upright until the steps had stones on either sides that I could hold onto... and HE DID! He even joked about it- if he fell, well, he'd make a soft landing for me! THere's nothing like laughter to put fear or anxiety aside! He took us to the 'best Fish n Chips' winner for lunch out and even got me to try Haggis. Surprisingly- I liked it! What a fabulous day we had and it was all because we were in the capable and steady hands of James Kennedy! I would sign up for any tour he offers! I trust that whatever it is, he would make it a magical lifetime memory!

   Just finished a day with James touring the outskirts of Edinburgh. We couldn’t have asked for a better day with a mix of the old castles filmed in Outlander along with stopping at charming villages. James took us to his favorite charming and authentic restaurant and pub which was an added treat. He was a true Scotsman with lots of stories and made the tour fun and interesting, well worth what we paid and definitely did not disappoint! Thank you James for giving us a day to remember!

   We were lucky enough to do a day trip in Scotland with James. We all loved him (70 to 6). His knowledge of the country, how best to spend our time, humor and just all around great human made our day in Scotland one day we will never forget. We hope to come back for an extend tour and we will only come if James can be our guide. His diary books quickly. Don’t hesitate if you are considering him for a guide. You won’t regret it.

   James was a great tour guide in Scotland. He helped us formulate our itineraries and his recommendations were spot on. I should also add that he was our driver throughout Scotland and we found him to be a safe driver. I would recommend him highly for anyone looking for a tour guide.

   If 12 stars were an option I'd still wish for more! Touring Scotland with James was an amazing once in a life time experience that I hope we get to do again :). James guided a private tour for my family of 6 from our cruise port, through Inverary and the Trossachs. I really enjoyed the off the beaten path places we found along the way, such as our stop on Loch Lommond where we had the lake to ourselves and the non-touristy completely wonderful gift shop he found for us in Inverary. That along with the beautiful weather and amazing service would be enough for a 5 star review. But James treated us to authentic music that left us rolling in laughter, custom photographs...that I didn't even have to ask for, local short bread and whisky (which we passed on but he still had available). All just to make our trip nothing less that amazing. Thank you James, I hope we meet again!

   We made it to Scotland and James Kennedy made the trip worth the wait! We has an amazing time thanks to James' detailed, great itinerary. He went above and beyond to show us the spectacular scenery and adjusted each day to make our 5 Day Tour a fantastic experience! James' knowledge, experience, and story telling shows the true Scotsman he is! Highly recommend.

   In 2018 Imy husband and i did an 1-day Outlander Tour with James Kennedy. It was fantastic from the beginning to the end. James is a good storyteller, enthusiastic and full of humor. The contact in advance via Messenger was clear and friendly. James had set the route but there was also enough room for improvisation. James drove us around in his comfortable car and along the way we were treated to whisky and local delicacies. I strongly recommend Tour guide Scotland !!

   How do make a "delayed trip for two years" one the most memorable, adventurous, and hilarious? Contact James Kennedy. We were fortunate enough to spend time with Leslie Kennedy on our last trip. If you've never experienced a private tour or even if you have, James will certainly exceed your expectations. Make sure you take advantage of both of there photography skills. Imagine taking a dream vacation with one of your life-long friends. Now imagine that friend is able to take you through the backroads of Scotland and remove all the worries out of your trip. This guy had us laughing and learning the entire 2 weeks. The only down side of this trip was the departure. James and Leslie, thank you so very much for being part of our adventure. We look forward to planning the next trip.
