   Booked for the astro pitch. Firstly the goals are 5 aside ones on a 8 aside pitch. Secondly the turf is very bobbly and not maintained well. As well as this the fence around the pitch isn't high at all so the chance of the ball going over into the marsh behind the pitch is very likely. It's a brilliant location and if refurbed would be brilliant.

   Really disappointed with sir james altham pool. The pool is clean but the admin is awful. Continually changing the times for classes and never letting parents know which really doesn't help organising child care or time off work. Also they always seem to be short of teachers so constantly cancelling classes. They have changed management but are still just ad badas before. We're now going elsewhere for lessons really frustrating.

   Very clean, well maintained, good sized swimming pool. Sundays @ 12 there is a great float session for kids. Me and my son have been going here for years and we both adore this place. Reasonable price, great pool and very friendly helpful staff make this place a winning choice.

   Useless online timetable which clearly states lane swimming at lunchtime but when I showed up was informed that was a miatake and it was public swimming. It costs a fortune to swim at this place which is short on facilities (lockers only take shopping trolley tokens as they won't update them to the new pound coins) and there is no adequate provision made for adults who want to swim for fitness. Who wants to swim at the crack of dawn or late at night, if work schedules even permit it? Schools, kids and people looking to splash about are clearly prioritised. If you're a serious swimmer forget it. It wouldn't be so bad but I pay £38 a month for a dual gym/pool membership when the pool is two miles away from the gym and always booked for other things. Three Rivers and Hertsmere Councils are taking the mick if they believe this is value for money. The gym isn't great either.

   The only good thing about this place was the water temperature! The pool is so small and they had swimming lessons at the same time as normal swimming. There were teens swimming horizontally and others vertically, it was a complete mess! I left after just five minutes as i was getting fed up with not being able to swim at all

   Nice little local pool with good friendly staff.Shower area rather open &no cubicles &little privacy specially when kids &adults in same sessions changing rooms need refurbishing..No hot drinks available after
