   From the moment we stepped into First Mortgage, we were greeted with a friendly smile. We are first time buyers and we had so many nerves and questions about the unknown we were about to venture into. We were paired with Abby as our advisor and she couldn’t have been more brilliant. She made us feel at ease and answered ANY questions we had, without making us feel silly for asking it(even tho some sounded silly to us). She was excellent at replying to emails as well, we didn’t have to wait long for a reply. She supported us through offering on a property and seeing the deal through. Then came along Sharon who was making the process smoother by overseeing Abby and us to support us all. Sharon also was very quick answering any emails and when we went for any appointments with Abby, Sharon always popped her head in to say hello. I would recommend First Mortgage(Musselburgh) to anyone looking to buy their first home and feeling a little nervous about the whole situation, they will make it as stress free as possible so you can just enjoy your new home! Getting a mortgage can be very stressful, but they have made the process really simple and straight forward, making us feel at ease.    We originally attended earlier than we expected to discuss our mortgage situation and had planned to buy next year as we were unsure we were in the best place to get on the property ladder. After our first meeting with Lyndsey we were immediately reassured that we were in a great position. It all happened very fast and we found our property quicker than expected but Lyndsey and Rebecca handled everything super efficiently for us and within a month we are already getting prepared to move into our new home! We cannot thank them both enough for how professional and friendly they have been, and being able to do meetings over Zoom and upload everything to the online portal made it super easy to work around our busy work schedules. They worked extremely hard to get my application submitted on time, kept me updated on progress on a regular basis and were always available if I had any questions.    I was recommended First Mortgage by a friend and am so glad I went with them. We have had a wonderful and easy first experience with First mortgage. Our Advisor, Suzanne, has been amazing. She replied timely and could answer all our questions. Since we are first time buyers Suzanne was also very patient with any of our worries and made sure we knew all the information we needed. Jean was also polite and professional when dealing with all our documentation and constant barrage for mortgage updates. We will definitely be using First Mortgage again and recommending it to our friends and family.

   My wife and I are very grateful for Scott Hastie and his team’s assistance with the whole mortgage process from start to end. Scott has always been there to assist us with any issues we had. We had a wonderful experience with him in getting a very quick and precise information aiming particularly at our circumstances. He has been dedicated with the whole process that once he has even approached our employers himself to get missing documents in our mortgage application taking the burden off our shoulders. This has helped us to get our mortgage application to get offered much faster than we had anticipated. Overall, we are very much satisfied with the whole process, and highly recommend Scott to anyone who plans to buy a home.
