   No pain, no gain! That is the motto here. Ash is a great instructor who will help you get fitter and tougher, I kid you not! The atmosphere is very friendly and there plenty of experienced regulars to give you one on one assistance if required.

   I randomly attended an open seminar,not knowing what silat was.im so glad i did and haven't looked back.Silat sbl is fun,demanding,rewarding physically and mentally.i love the martial and artistic side of the Silat. great bunch of guys to train with,where everyone of varying abilities and other martial art styles is made to feel welcome. if you're looking to make a positive change in life or just a challenge try SBL..!

   I really enjoy this class. Silat is an interesting martial art with much to teach people of all levels/experience. Body mechanics, self defence and conditioning are all treated with equal importance in Ash's class making for a rich and rewarding experience. Ash himself is a thorough teacher who believes in teaching by example. I have been attending his Thursday night class for close to three years a now and have always come away at the end of an evening feeling I have learned something new and beneficial.
