My daughter recently joined mini athletics SE London and absolutely loves it! She’s very active and this is the perfect activity for a Saturday morning. Not only does she burn a lot of energy but she is also learning new skills such as throwing etc, and enhancing her social skills by meeting other children her age. She is already looking forward to tomorrow!

We have loved every class of Mini Athletics in Penge! Each week is different with lots of variety. Sam is great with the little ones and gives everyone her undivided attention where she can. As the weeks have progressed my son now listens , follows instructions and most importantly, he thoroughly enjoys himself! He asks me when we will be going to mini athletics each week. Thank you Sam & MA team!

We are continually impressed by the imaginative, engaging and fun classes at mini athletics. The coaches are enthusiastic and great at what they do- holding the attention of kids is tough but they manage it with ease. Our 4yr old looks forward to her session every week and loves her coach so much she didn’t want to move class as she grew older. Highly recommend.

My son has been going to Mini Athletics with Sam since he was 4 and he looks forward to it every week. Sam is amazing with the kids. She has amazing energy and takes time to get to know each of the kids to meet them where they are. This way, they're able to challenge their bodies while being free to have fun at the same time. We love it so much that we worked with her to plan his 5th birthday party for 18 of his friends and it was a huge hit! I highly recommend to anyone looking for new activities for their kids.

Its a great excuse to be up and active in the mornings and the little one looks forward to it weekly. Its not too long but also long enough. Lots of incentives to return with obvious exercise benefits. For parents of introverted children, it may take a few classes before they’re comfortable (all children are different of course), but the environment is such that space is given for your child to open up on their own time. The coaches manage the different child personalities very well. I used to have to really encourage my little one to take part, now he encourages me!

The Mini Athletics South East London team provided 4th Birthday Party entertainment for our son and his friends and it was a great success. All the children enjoyed the activities, props, stickers and achievement certificates at the end, and there was enough variety to involve all the children, the sporty and outgoing ones, as well as those who were more shy. Sam and her team have a lot of experience, gave us wide choice of themes to choose from, and were communicative throughout the lead up to the party. I highly recommend Mini Athletics for a fun, reliable, all-embracing party activity. Thank you Sam!

My daughter has been going to Mini Athletics since she was 2. She's now 4.5 and she absolutely loves it. She wasn't at nursery until 4 so this was the first setting where she had to listen and follow instructions in a large group. She was shy at first and didn't always want to join in but we persevered and I'm so glad. It's such a fun session. The coaches really put the effort in. She's only 4.5 and she can play frisbee and throw accurately better than most adults. We love Mini Athletics and hope to continue classes for as long as we can.

Took my son Orion to mini athletics for around a year and loved it and so did he! He's very active so would get bored in other classes such as music or crafts. Mini athletics is the perfect blend of freedom to burn lots of energy and structure to start learning simple games. We went from 2-3yo and only stopped as I've gone back to work! But I'll be doing holiday camps or after school classes in the future for sure! The coaches Sam and Lara are really hands on, lovely and encouraging which was helpful when I had my daughter who I then had to bring along to the class. I recommend the classes to all my mum friends and 3 of them signed up for a term after doing the trial class. If you've got an active kids who loves running round and playing fun and imaginative games then mini athletics is right for you!
