Hugh was fantastic - he was interested in what I wanted to achieve, identified the initial set of focal points and articulated a four step approach to playing better golf. It is down to me now to put advice into practice before another session to determine the next steps.
From my first visit Hugh got me concentrating on my set up, positioning and balance which has clearly slipped over the years. Two lessons in and the improvement is noticeable on the golf course with more to do. Hugh is very knowledgeable, good diagnostically and does not overload/ overwhelm you.
Just had a trial lesson with my 7 year old who had never played before but is keen to learn. Seriously impressed with how skilfully Hugh engaged with him at his level and helped him to grasp for himself some of the key fundamentals. The change in his swing from the start to the end of a 30 min session was huge. Looking forward to seeing the ongoing progress in future sessions.

Hugh is very good and having played golf for a number of years is taking me back to some of the basics which have got lost along the way and changing a number of things. Feels very unnatural but can see the reasoning and the value of it. Would highly recommend for a complete beginner or someone that has been playing for a long time.

I've been working with Hugh for about 3 months now and he is an excellent coach. As a beginner, I really appreciated the clarity of his system, which is easy to understand and allows you to focus on each of the relevant elements of your game. Being at Aquarius, Hugh can coach all aspects of your game, including your putting and short game, which is often lacking with lessons at driving ranges. Hugh is also very available and regularly gives me pointers on videos of my swing that I send him. I would thoroughly recommend Hugh as a coach and have seen a remarkable improvement in my game in a short period of time.
