   I signed my son up for Brazilian Jiu jitsu at Gracie Barra and as parents , we needed to direct his energy in ways that would make sense to us and him. Head professor Eduardo gave him trial classes but within the first 5 minutes he had fallen in love with the sport and gelled extremely well with the team. Shortly after introducing him to BJJ at GB, we decided to get our other 4 children into it who have all been enjoying learning from the coaches. Also, my wife and I have recently started it which tells you a lot. Would definitely recommend Jiu jitsu for everyone but not just anywhere, but at Gracie Barra. Sign yourself up for your trial classes and you will see what I mean. You won’t regret it.

   Best experience I’ve had - energy and excitement filled the air and the motivation and discipline was in the atmosphere. I come from a different Gracie Barra Academy but I have to say the aesthetics of the area is colourful and vivid making it better to train and it motivates you even more. The class was very organised and the instructors were very good when explaining key details and points in a technique and during drilling. Would definitely recommend anyone who is thinking of trying something new and lives in the area, as I promise you that it will be the best choice that you will make it will help you grow and develop in many ways. Thank you Gracie Barra Oval for giving such an amazing class ❤️

   After doing zero exercise for many years, it was time for me to start getting myself into shape. I had a trial class for free and it was tough work, but both the students and the professors/instructors have been nothing but supportive, patient and motivational. The classes are intense, the movements are complex, so you're training the mind and the body all at once! It is an awesome place to train in a safe and fun environment. The schedule is excellent, there's so much availability for classes that fit even the most difficult lifestyles. I'm looking forward to getting that first stripe on my white belt!

   It was a great day of "NoGi" training at Gracie Barra Oval led by Professor Ciao Rocha! I was welcomed with open arms and enjoyed the Competition Class for 1 1/2 hours, sparring with the students there! I look forward to coming back and train again! Yes, Jiu Jitsu is for Everyone!!!

   Great BJJ school. Lots of hours for different levels throughout the week. The curriculum they follow across a rolling 16-week schedule is superb and gives a solid foundation to the martial art. Students are all great. No egos. I particularly like the ethos and approach at the school, of staying disciplined both mentally and physically. Lastly professor Daniel, a Brazilian black belt, who attends many classes is incredible and a real asset to the school - his approach makes learning enjoyable and he’s patient and proactive, always looking to help you improve your technique, encouraging you in the right way, and super knowledgeable about the art and the sport!

   Could not recommend more. Great place to learn Jiu Jitsu. Very high standard of teaching with time taken one on one. All coaches willing to go that extra mile before and after class. What’s more is the community - takes a lot to build one like they have.

   I joined Gracie Barra Oval a few months after moving to London & I had no prior BJJ experience. It is a fantastic school with an exceptional quality of teaching & a very flexible schedule. All the coaches & staff are welcoming & friendly, lead by professor Eduardo. The club has a great team spirit & atmosphere. I look forward to continuing my BJJ journey in Gracie Barra Oval & would recommend it to anyone considering, or already practicing BJJ.
