I cannot recommend highly enough. My two daughters both attend and not only do they love it but they get 'the best' training at the same time. It's a wonderful school with a kind, nurturing spirit and the ability to instil confidence and a love of the Arts. We wouldn't go anywhere else
I have two children who dance at TDS-a son and a daughter. They are both incredibly happy, achieving and love the community and support they get from teachers and fellow students. Dance is such a powerful tool for a child’s development, and this is understood by the TDS team-working hard on technique, discipline and embedding a love for dance in their students. Couple this with regular performance opportunities in dance and drama, annual awards evenings and industry approved teaching and exams, I couldn’t recommend the school highly enough. My 6 year old daughter started ballet classes at TDS nearly 2 years ago and she'd like to sign up to her 4th weekly class from September. It goes without saying that she LOVES it! This dance school is a gem in Teddington. Natalie and her team are amazing and professional in every way. They always keep to the highest standards while teaching and guiding the kids gently and with kindness. There's a nice sense of community feel across the school where the children can feel safe and make friends. The way all the dancers - whether young or older - support each other is so lovely and heart-warming to see. The best place I have been lucky enough to find for my daughter, which I can highly recommend! Thanks TDS!!
A fantastic friendly, professional and inclusive dance school! It’s not just what happens on the dance floor that supports my daughter, she gets great mental and emotional support too, it’s not easy being a teenager during 2020 and Natalie and the team have been there every step of the way ensuring they are Covid compliant when open and holding virtual lessons over Zoom when not during lockdown. Just wish we had found this gem of a school earlier, my daughter does Ballet, Modern, Acro, Tap and Musical Theatre and loves them all equally!
Such a FANTASTIC dance school!! My girls love every single minute of their lessons. The standard of dance is incredibly high - a result of the exceptionally talented, dedicated and caring teachers. So many opportunities are offered to the children, both through dancing and through the community of friends they create. Our lives would be so empty without TDS. Couldn’t recommend this dance school highly enough!
The most professional dance school in Teddington teaching ballet, tap, modern, jazz, contemporary, acro & musical theatre to an exceptional standard. All three teachers are competent individuals bringing consistency to the training given & have created a community amongst their pupils & dance families. Teamwork is key at TDS with every child feeling included in something very special whether it’s taking exams, competing in All England Dance Festivals or being part of the performance evenings & bi annual shows. A truly inclusive school.
Outstanding dance school & amazing teaching for all categories of dance. My daughter has been attending the school for over 6 years and my younger daughter for 2 years. They love going to dance and are making so many happy memories with lovely friends.
