   I never ever thought I would take up dancing in my 50s but First Dance Studio is much more than dance classes. They are welcoming, supportive, fun and above all inclusive! They are helping me both mentally and physically so much more than I could ever put into words. Don't hesitate, join a class. You will absolutely not regret it! I only wish I had found them sooner.

   We had a first dance lesson with Emma for our wedding and she was excellent. She helped us improve our routine so much and made the experience very fun! It really felt like she cared about our dance and that we had a good time. We would definitely recommend her and First Dance Studios.

   Emma was amazing from the initial zoom call to get an understanding of what we were looking for to our 3 lessons in person. Her experience and passion was evident and she was so helpful in explaining and demonstrating everything to us. She created a bespoke routine for us with choreography that suited our skill level and the song itself. Her feedback and notes after each lesson were very helpful and the videos she took help us track our progress. Most importantly she genuinely cared about our progress and we couldn’t recommend her enough.

   This is the most joyful and welcoming community of dancers I could ever wish to be a part of. Emma and all the brilliant teachers make each class so much fun. I came to First Dance Studios after quite a few years gap from dance and was immediately made to feel so welcome. My dancing and my confidence grows each week. I have made lifelong friends at First Dance and am very proud to be a part of this dance family!

   Where do I begin?! We wanted something special and memorable for the first dance at our wedding and boy did Sophie deliver! Neither of us are confident dancers but we loved every second of every session that we had, so much so we didn't want them to end! Sophie put us at complete ease, we had such good fun and it really felt like we had know each other for years which was so lovely! The dance was choreographed beautifully and matched our skills perfectly! First Dance Studios is amazing and Sophie is an absolute asset to them and true advocate for getting absolutely everyone of all abilities dancing! We cannot thank you enough for making our first dance and the process leading up to it so memorable, we will never forget it! I could talk for hours about how amazing the whole experience was and specifically the awesome Sophie; so if you are looking for a dance studio who cares and will go above and beyond this is the place to go! Sophie, thank you so much for everything! You are truly brilliant!

   First Dance Studios is a really friendly dancing school for adults. From the first day I started there, I could tell what a really caring and happy place it is. I was really nervous going back to dancing after many years, but the lovely teachers put me at ease and I felt like I belonged after only about 5 minutes. Everyone is so lovely and it is so well organised too with an emphasis on fun. First Dance Studios is a great place.

   I can’t say enough good things about Emma & Sarah – we were very nervous about our first dance, but from the first meeting they put our mind at ease, making the whole process of learning the dance feel very easy, even for a pair of complete novices! They were supportive and encouraging throughout, and their willingness to adapt their ideas to our level of ability was greatly appreciated. The photos and videos we got from the first dance are amazing, and I give full credit to Emma & Sarah for this – thank you both very much!

   We booked Emma to help us with our first dance for our wedding. We enjoyed the dance lessons- much more than expected! It gave us the tools to have a simple yet impressive first dance, we received lots of compliments on it and we’re happy we did the lessons rather than just swayed together for a minute! Emma is so much fun and a great teacher who created a unique routine for us and tailored it for our abilities. We moved our wedding due to covid - Emma was also great at lifting our spirits throughout the uncertainty- would highly recommend :)
