    My daughters have been learning Bharatnatyam at Srishti for the last 6 years. Nina didi and all her supporting senior students have been excellent teachers. The end of term events organised to showcase learnings are something we really look forward to. A perfect place for students to learn the classical Indian art holistically as Yadavanji introduces the students to Carnatic music.

    I got back into dancing after 27 years and could reignite my passion for Bharatnatyam dance under the guidance and teaching of our Guru Nina Rajarani MBE who we also lovingly call Didi. Her passion for the art and her detail for the art can be seen in her lessons, which are tailor made for each class depending on the level the child , youth or adult performing. Didi’s and other teachers’ hard work can be seen in every class. I am always so thrilled to go for my lesson and meet my fellow dancers and teachers. I am so happy to have joined, as Srishti has got me closer to my passion in an enjoyable and conducive learning environment. I would highly recommend Srishti dance school At Harrow art centre.

    I have been with Srishti for many years as a student and as a parent and Nina Didi is professional teacher and passionate about dance. She is very meticulous teacher and that sets the standard of Srishti school high. This is reflected in the performances. Discipline is the key. It has been more than 30 years for Srishti dance school and you can feel the dance community is built with core foundations.

    I have been both a student and teacher at Srishti and guided by Nina Rajarani (Didi) for the last 20 years or so. I was a student, completing all my necessary ISTD exams, which Didi meticulously helps you prepare for and also went on to do my advanced exams. I also had the pleasure of teaching at Srishti. Nina (Didi), is both a very dedicated teacher and a well organised business woman. To lead a successful school for this long, as well as a dance company, requires forethought and well laid out information. Didi clearly lays out the expectations for both parents and students when joining the school. The term dates, show dates, exam dates are provided well in advance as well as notice period. As someone who has stopped classes and re-joined numerous times throughout the years, the process is well defined by Didi and I have not run into any problems as this is clearly communicated to all who enroll at Srishti in advance. Just as children attend school and are subject to fines for not attending during term time, Srishri is a school and is run by Didi accordingly and this should be respected by all. As a previous teacher at Srishti, I can firmly say that Didi takes safeguarding of children very seriously, with DBS checks and necessary training taken appropriately. Finally, I would like to thank didi for instilling not only my culture in me, but also teaching me the importance of discipline, commitment and tradition. I will never meet anyone as dedicated to the artform as Didi and all who have the pleasure of learning from her are truly blessed.
