My 6 yr old grandaughter does a weekly dance class here and also has attended some dance camps during school holidays. On Friday we attended the show put on at the end of the week long Dance Camp.....it was truly inspirational seeing so many youngsters varying in age from infant school age children to teenagers so involved in their performance. The organisation of bringing all these children together was astonishing and worked so well. All the children looked so happy and you could see their enjoyment the whole way through. The teachers are amazing, very enthusiastic and friendly. SCD is a huge asset to the local community in Sutton.

I first met Gemma when my eldest was about 3, I was keen for him to try everything so he had a trial class at her previous location. Dancing was not for him but Gemma made such an impression on me that when my youngest was obviously a dancer almost from birth, I set out to track Gemma down again! I found SCD as the only place around that was doing a proper, varied dance class for children aged 18 months and up - everywhere else I tried was either too focused just on ballet, or involved way too much sitting down watching and listening instead of moving. We live a little way away but I was able to come weekday mornings for Gemma's unique Created to Move class and my daughter loved it from day one. When she was 3 years old she moved on to Street Dance and then Contemporary - so exciting to be able to leave her to it and have a little time to myself! When she was about to start school I told myself we needed to find a dance school closer to home, to fit in around school and the activities of my other two children. But when I looked around, I couldn't find anywhere as reasonably priced, with the variety of classes on offer. I also find it really helpful that fees are split into regular monthly payments by direct debit, so much easier than having to remember to pay term by term. So, even though it often means taking two buses there and back on Saturday mornings, we are still part of the lovely SCD community. My daughter attended her first camp when aged only 4, I was a little nervous with her going for the full day but I needn't have worried as she loved it, and she's just completed the week-long summer camp which again she adored, and we loved seeing her bright-eyed and enthusiastic in the final performance. And again, so reasonably priced for what SCD delivers. As you can tell, we are major SCD fans, and plan to be for many years to come. Heartily recommend!

Another brilliant summer camp run by the fantastic team at SCD! Our daughter absolutely loves coming here & the mix of dance, crafts and time with her friends, both old & new. We love that it’s such a warm & nurturing environment where everyone feels welcomed and included as part of this special community. Highly recommend!!

Adult contemporary class is the most rewarding thing I could do on Thursday evenings. Always open for experiments, fun and friendly environment. Lots of options to enjoy - either fancy warm-up, or space-filling diagonals, or new exciting choreo. And amazing opportunity to perform in front of friendly audience few times a year. I love our teacher Gemma - the most dedicated and cheerful person I ever know. Whoever wants trying - you are welcome to join a family of Sutton contemporary dancers!

Yesterday my daughter celebrated her 7th birthday at SCD. I would thoroughly recommend SCD for a party and would definitely book again. As children arrived they were greeted by a huge screen displaying a birthday message and photographs of my daughter. As my daughter is Harry Potter obsessed Adam ensured that Harry Potter music was playing. Children then went inside the dance studio and were entertained by Ella and Heidi playing games, learning choreography and dancing. Ella and Heidi were amazing and ensured that all the children had fun including the younger children. After the children ate they then were able to participate, (parents included too if they wished) in a silent disco. Parents of the attending children were so impressed with the whole party. Thank you so much Adam, Ella and Heidi for such a wonder party. My daughter had the best time and the party exceeded what I could of ever imagined.

Had my twins birthday party here and would highly recommend. The staff are amazing, the venue was perfect. The owner was incredibly helpful during the lead up to the party and throughout. My children and all the other children at the party, absolutely loved it! It was fun, constant movement and the children were looked after throughout. Really good pace and timings. Can't thank everyone enough! Would definitely book again!

Such an amazing dance school! Everyone is welcomed no matter what their ability! They have so many classes to choose from for children and adults, very professional while at the same time being very laid back and. Inclusive. Very friendly staff who cannot do enough and the dance teachers are one in a million!
