   Before ordering i confirmed if the place was halal and they confirmed it. We ordered Pollo pasta and lamb chops. My order which was Lamb chops was phenomenal. On the other hand, my wife didn't enjoy the pasta it was tasteless.

   My husband and I had a wonderful meal at Nar during our honeymoon trip to Scotland. The food was absolutely delicious. They had some of the best fish and chips that we ate on our vacation. The fresh humus and pita bread was amazing. I highly recommend eating here!

   The restaurant has good ambience but food was strictly okay. We ordered the Halloumi platter - rice didn’t have any flavor. Only Halloumi on skewers tasted good. We ordered the trio appetizer platter but were not served pita with it. Waited a long time for the waitress to even look in our direction. When asked, I was told they forgot! We also got the curry pasta and didn’t like it. Service was also quite slow as they seemed busy and understaffed.

   had 3pax lunch on 4.8.2025 @nar Mediterranean restaurant was empty we were the only customer through 12pm ish - 1pm ordered appetizers to try out calamari £9.95 for 3 rings..calamari taste was ok mussels £12.95 for a tiny serving ..mussels taste was good…every other places we been in Glencoe and Isle of Skye served 500g mussels for £15 thereabout babaghanosh £5.95 - the eggplant hummus was poor, flat not tasty..the peta bread was good. service was uncommunicative and poor. no water was served until i requested. so we did not order any main course.

   I had dinner for the first time today and I am pleasantly surprised. Tasty, meat well seasoned, of course, according to my taste. You have to try it before you can judge the flavors. I will definitely go back there again.

   We got the mixed grill for 2 here, it was wonderful. The food is on the pricey side but quantities make it worth it and it is truly delicious. Well decorated on the inside too. Service was grand. Would recommend a visit.

   Sometimes a business, through no fault of their own, finds themselves understaffed. How they handle that speaks volumes. I came in, on suggestion of friends, after not eating for 12 hours and having done a tough hike up 2400’ in Glencoe. I was warned that it would be 45 minutes to get my food because they were missing half of their staff! I asked for a beer, babaganoosh, and water. I was served immediately! Then, in way less than even 20 minutes, my order was in front of me! Amazing service. Fantastic food!! Thank you for making my day!

   Last Friday I had an amazing Lamb Shish at Nar in Inverness. I was lucky to get the last table for myself without a reservation. , dimmed lights, Staff was lovely and helpful with food choice. I would recommend this place, and I would be back :)

   Right at the heart of the town, and just by the River Ness, the location and menu looked quite promising. We walked in and were greeted by very polite staff. Although it did seem they were busier than usual and understaffed, I cannot fault the ladies who waited on us. However, the food was disappointing. The Mitite Kofte was just a meatball Bolognese out of a super Market box. The sauce tasted straight out of a jar. The lamb and aubergine casserole was better but the amount of oil in it was scary. Although the wine (Merlot) in the menu was different to the one served, we paid the same amount for a cheaper wine. It is a tourist town so perhaps visitors are taken for granted as they will seldom visit again. Overall a disappointing dinner in an extremely pretty town. Oh and no one bothered to light a candle, although the table pretended to have one.
