Experienced, friendly teachers who are passionate about what they do. All three of our daughters have loved being a part of Spotlight, from dancing, to theatre, to private singing lessons. Highly recommended if you want a fun, relaxed and supportive environment to develop dancing and theatre skills.
My 2 girls have been attending Spotlight for several years now doing ballet and street dance. It is run brilliantly by Rachel and the dance teacher Kerrie is amazing, always coming up with new choreography for the shows. They’ve both made fantastic progress over the years and this is a testament to both ladies. Would 100% recommend.
Spotlight dance school is so much more than a dance school, it’s a family! My daughters have been going since they were toddlers and love it. The skills they learn alongside the friendships they make, the big show they work towards alongside rainbow awards is enough to keep them coming back for more. Not to mention the family that you inherit when you join. Full of love, nurture and development of key dance skills it’s an absolute hit in our home!
I can't speak highly enough about Rachel and her team at Spotlight Dance & Theatre School. My girls have been involved with Spotlight since they were young, attending the Friday classes (with some great presentations at the end of the term to see what the kids have learnt and how they are progressing). My girls are now older and attend the Saturday morning classes and they love them. They thrive on the opportunity to perform and look forward to the Musical performances and can't wait for this year's show (having missed out on live performances during the Pandemic). Their confidence has soared from the encouragement from Rachel and her team and to see them up on stage makes us all proud! Well done Spotlight!
Before my daughter started dancing here she wouldn't leave my side and had zero confidence. Within 6months she was up on stage doing her first performance in front of a huge crowd, which I never thought would happen. Now I have 2 girls dancing weekly and they absolutely love it. There are different classes offering a great range of dancing styles. Would highly recommend this amazing friendly dance school
My oldest boy has been attending the Dance school since 2016 and Theatre School since 2018. He has transformed into a beautiful dancer and they have supported him outside Spotlight to attend the boys only days at Tring Park too. He has a beautiful group of friends there and the care and support is beautiful. His highlight of the summer holidays is the theatre school week Rachel offers and I love watching them all perform and have fun together especially when they did their boys only song together! He is excited to be a part of the senior theatre school this year and the older boys have taken him under their wing with the guidance of Mike. Thank You Spotlight for all you do x
My daughter has attended Spotlight since she was 3 years old (she’s nearly 11 now). First at the dance school, then onto Spotlight Juniors and now Spotlight Youth Theatre. She loves it so much and we love going to see her, and all her friends she’s made, perform in the shows each year. Would definitely recommend if your child loves to dance, sing, act and most of all have lots of fun!
